General Discussion Border Patrol agents arrested firefighters fighting Washington wildfire after they asked the fire crew to line up to check their IDs.

What do we all think of this? Seems pretty nuts to me. They are actively getting in the way of wildlands guys as they do their job out there. I dont think this should be allowed or encouraged. Firefighting is a lot more important than .... risking 20 guys dressed exactly like firefighters crossing the Canadian border?

Interesting argument for an agency that is extremely hard to get hired by with a lengthy hiring process.

... when did that start? They're so deperste they offer 50k signing bonuses and paying off college tuitions. It definitely ain't hard or lengthy to get hired by the border patrol 💀

There is a hiring bonus to attract qualified people, and they only get it if they get hired and make it though probation. Still takes most people a year to get hired and most fail out during the process or the academy.

Still not Border Patrol, that’s ICE ERO wearing masks (same ones you probably told everyone to wear in 2020). If you’re gonna take a jab at least know enough to understand what you are talking about. Also a pretty bold assertion since the biggest danger and leading cause of hose dragger deaths is heart attack.

Lol comparing wearing masks to prevent the spread of covid to ICE wearing masks to protect their identities while committing crimes is pretty telling of the type of person you are. Just beating around the bush is all you're doing 😂💀

They felt the effects of inflation during Biden’s term even though it was caused by the amount of money injected into the market and given to businesses by the Trump admin. during COVID. They used Biden’s immigration policy as a scapegoat which is what led us to where we are now… Hard working patriots trying to manage a wildfire, getting swooped up by the gestapo.
