💻 Help PSA: SuperAgent is now behind a paywall and spamming intrusive popups
SuperAgent’s whole job is simple: it auto-clicks cookie banners for you so you don’t have to. That’s it. Install it, forget about it, and websites stop harassing you with "Accept all cookies?" popups.
Now you get three uses a day unless you pay up, and the extension throws intrusive subscription popups in your face. I even got one this morning. The dev is in the reviews crying that it’s "fair", while Firefox users are torching it with one-stars.
Best option now is to uninstall and look for an alternative.

Firefox isn’t perfect, but I’m riding with it till the end 🦊
I’ve been using Firefox for a long time now, and it’s always been my go-to. It’s not that I hate Chrome — it just never really appealed to me.
Most of what I do is pretty simple: surfing, YouTube, and downloading movies. With uBlock Origin (been using it since 2021), that pretty much covers everything I need. No ads, no interruptions, just clean browsing. Honestly, uBlock is the only extension I use because I don’t really need anything else.
That said, Firefox isn’t perfect. Sometimes it has weird compatibility issues, performance hiccups compared to Chromium, and lately it feels like Mozilla keeps making questionable choices. It’s frustrating because Firefox is such a solid browser at its core, but the decisions around it don’t always feel like they’re made for the users who’ve stuck around this long.
But even with the flaws, I’m gonna stay loyal. Will use it until it's death (or mine).

Toolbar doesn't respond to clicks bug
In firefox 142.0, multiple times per day, the toolbar ( section between bookmark bar and tab bar) stops responding to clicks for 10+ minutes. Also, some tabs become invisible while the bug is happening. It becomes completely unresponsive, not responding to hover or click.

Discussion I keep Firefox open for 1 month with intensive daily use. No memory leaks, unlike many people claimed
Seeing so many people accusing Firefox for being memory leak, I decided to test it myself, after 1 month it's finally done and here's the result:
First, this is the image showing launch time, it was 25th of last month (Fri Jul 25) using this command to extract launch time, of course firefox-bin and not Isolated processes because those get killed and restarted quite often, so they always get newer launch time.

Second, I show you guys my system specs:

Third, I show you guys `about:processes`, it's the only thing that matters, I don't show Task Manager because it's useless and pointless:

Addons installed:
- uBlock Origin
- Auto Tab Discard
- Search by Image
This proves that Firefox doesn't have memory leak, it's more an issue from your setup like installing antivirus that hooks and install bad addons to hook your Firefox without knowing causing memory leaks, or using outdated drivers, installing bad addons. This is not really Firefox's fault because Firefox can't stop you from installing softwares that can affect Firefox.

Discussion Backing up Firefox profiles
I see quite a few posts on people reporting that they've lost their tabs and groups after restarts or updates. That hasn't happened to me yet, but it prompted me to create a backup script. It does the following:
- Checks if Firefox is running and if so, prompts to close it.
- Creates a ZIP file labeled, for each profile, with the name of the profile being backed up and the date.
- Maintains a specified number of copies of the profile backups.
I'm running it from the Task Scheduler so it "remembers" to create backups when I don't.
You set the location of your Profiles folder and backup folder, as well as the number of backups you want to keep, in the section marked CONFIGURATION. Hope this helps someone.
I posted it here: https://github.com/DavidOfMA/Back-up-Firefox-Profiles

Help (Android) Pinch to zoom on Firefox Android
Hey,
Is anyone else having issues with pinch to zoom on Firefox Android? For me it acts weird, zooming in very small increments every time I do a full "pinch". Then it becomes a lesson in patience trying to zoom in on something. As an example, I was viewing an image on X, and it took me like 7-8 pinches to zoom in to a point I wanted. Opened the same image on Chrome and it is smooth as butter, getting to zoom in with a single pinch.
I am trying to fully ditch Chrome but things like this annoy me quite a bit and put a damper on an otherwise good experience with the app.

💻 Help Weird URL copying bug
As of recently, sometimes when I try to copy a URL from the site Firefox replaces it with a tracker link (example - EQCLfvbkTrdUJ1wfyNI9uOdcK30z1wbWWX060mrXBNwp2Tse). So far I ran a full scan of the PC with Windows Defender which found no malware. Any suggestions on what might cause this?

💻 Help Looking for help with autofill
Is there a way to get Firefox to autofill forms that aren't related to personal information? The browser has my name and address saved, so that type of info gets autofilled when an online form asks for it, but what about other types of info? Is there a way I could autofill a certain form I use often, but which doesn't ask for personal info? Thanks in advance.

💻 Help After recent update everything has been acting strange
Tabs themselves keep freezing, tabs overlap, pages becoming unresponsive. I don't know what they did, but this update is very buggy. Is there any temporary fixes before firefox releases a patch?

💻 Help All of my tab groups have disappeared.
Title. Went to check my tab groups for something I had saved in there for later and all of my groups in the dropdown were gone. Firefox crashed on me last night which I assume is when it happened if I had to guess and I have no idea if I can restore them and I cant find anyone else having this problem online. Pretty ticked off.
Have any of you had this happen and if so were you able to restore it?

💻 Help How to Determine What Set Enterprise Policy? (Windows)
I noticed that one of my computers suddenly has the "your browser is being managed by an organization" thing in Firefox, but I'm not part of an organization. Looking into it didn't provide the most helpful results other than listing things it could maybe be and potentially how to remove it. However, none of these seem to apply to me. I scanned my machine multiple times and haven't installed anything new on it in years, so I don't think malware did it. Both machines have Malwarebytes on them, but without any sort of browser settings or anything set up for them. Both also have uBlock Origin installed. Despite this, only one machine has this enterprise policy set. Is there something I can do to determine what set this? Thanks!
Edit: I also don't seem to have a "distribution" folder in any of the common places like some posts have mentioned. Not sure if that's relevant or not, but I did find the registry key

💻 Help Not loading some sites unless in private mode
So, I've noticed there a few sites that don't load/don't work unless I'm using private mode. My main problem is wplace.live which has been working without much trouble until yesterday when it just crashed. I tried turning off all my extensions but it still wasn't working. It happened on a few sites already. Any idea what it is?

Discussion What's with all the new feature notifications? Mozilla, please don't be like MS and every other bloodsucking company out there.
Just installed the new Firefox update on Linux, and it seems like every other time I open a new tab, I start typing and Firefox has some tooltip for something I don't care to know or use. I really don't like my hand being held unless it's someone I love in real life, Other than that, keep up the good work, and I'll keep sounding the Firefox siren to my coworkers and family.

💻 Help In FF's task manager my YouTube tabs appear linked. Is there any way to have each one be fully independent?
While watching YouTube I often middle click to open a new video in another tab. Later on, in Firefox's task manager if I end one tab several stop/crash (or sometimes even disappear) at the same time.
I've got 120GB of RAM and am guessing there might be some RAM saving reason for this behaviour? If so is there any way to have each tab opened be a fully new / independent process?
RAM usage is often very low (20-40%) and I primarily got it so my browser could handle 100s of tabs.
Is there any setting or toggle that tells it to make each tab a fully independent process and to guzzle all the RAM it wants?

💻 Help Firefox address bar randomly freezing since last update?
Since the latest update my address bar will randomly freeze for around 5-10 minutes, it can't be opened, clicking it does nothing, i can't even click my extensions to the side of the bar, i can't even use google search next to it, the whole thing is completely freezing.
Does anyone know what's causing this or anyone else having a similar problem?
I did a quick google and there are results from a few years ago blaming the clipboard setting but when i go to disable it, there is no clipboard option there.

Solved Firefox has bad performence on second monitor
I started to use a second monitor, but I am quite disappointed with FF's performance. Youtube videos are lagging and stuttering, and the whole browser feels way less responsive on the second screen. I turned off hardware acceleration, didnt help.
I have no such issues with other browsers.
Solution: about:config
: set dom.ipc.processPriorityManager.backgroundUsesEcoQoS
 to false

Help (Android) How can I make Firefox show the whole search suggestion by default?
I have been using Firefox in Android for a few months and one thing is really bugging me. Whenever I search for something in the address bar, the suggestions only show the first half and not the entire suggestion. Is there a way I can make the text wrap down to the next line?

💻 Help Clicks arent working on firefox
This only started a few days ago, I’m guessing after the recent update. Wondering if anyone else is running into the same issue: after leaving a tab idle for a while, the page stops responding to clicks and I can’t interact with it until I refresh.
