I've just finished the game and I'm surprised that almost nobody has noticed how obvious it is that Dave is Delilah. If you look at the stuff in the supply crates and the stuff in Delilah's watchtower at the end, it's very obvious. The flowers from one box are the same ones delilah put in the outhouse and the tower. The bars that ron likes so much can also be seen through a gap in the drawers. There's also a picture from one of the boxes in Delilah's tower. So are the antlers - which Delilah knew immediately that they were antlers

Not sure I buy it but I'm up voting because I'm just happy to see an actual fresh interpretation in this sub for once.

We know from Ned's notes that Delilah was cheating on her boyfriend. She is not an open person and probably engages in escapism just like Henry. I honestly don't know the exact reason yet

I think somewhere devs said that ron and dave are different characters.

I haven't found anything from the devs about it. There is a reason why we can enter delilah's tower once at the end. It is amazing how much effort the devs put into it

I think I'm the only one that didn't like Delilah's character. About 10% the way through the game I couldn't stop thinking "Yeah she's totally screwing with him. She's really getting a good kick out of this jerk. She's got him literally running all through the woods chasing teenagers around."

Interesting theory, but how do you explain the radio eavesdropping onto their communications, which were documented by Ron in the notes Dave found? Also the food deliveries. There were several for different towers, suggesting Delilah was one of them. Also her firewatch tower interior was clearly a different style.

Im not sure what you ment by the eavesdropping that was documented by Ron as i cant find anything about that in their notes. But the food deliveries are different for Delilah, its mentioned in a conversation between Henry and her, she has a the privilege that its delivered directly to her tower as she has worked there for quite some time. Which also explains why her tower has a somewhat different layout and interiour, she propably sprouced it up herself throughout the years. Delilahs tower also isnt in the food delivery cache, the 2 towers next to Two forks are also mentioned in the story but you never see or visit them.
