THE BEST PLACE IN What to eat between movie screenings in Whittier
Going to two Hong Kong movie screenings in Whittier and have a gap in the late afternoon to grab an early dinner. Where is the best place in downtown Whittier that is walking distance to the Starlight Cinemas on a weekend? Preferably in the $$ range, and nothing too hot for a hot day. Thanks!

It's not walking distance, but it's a free Circuit ride to Rodeo72, which has a bunch of options to choose from.

Damn, I slept on Taco Nazo so long. Finally, my dental hygienist from Ensenada told me there was nothing else like it in the US, and she was so right.

Zumayas is nice and very close. Bizarra Capital is fantastic and only 0.3 miles from the starlight. If you like Mexican BC is entirely unique and delicious.
ETA: Also maybe worth asking on r/whittier
