He’s definitely one of those people that uses Chat as a “side piece”.

I first heard of people doing this within the last few weeks. I am very anti-clanker and the whole idea of that sounds like a book that belongs in r/badscificovers.

He still sounds like a moron. You have to repeat things correctly to achieve excellence. Focusing on repeating the same dogshit form means that you become excellent at the dogshit form and therefore, not excellent at the sport.

80

u/Top_Jellyfish_ 2d ago

Can I just say that a husband with an actual job and career is part of the woke agenda 🙏💯

21

u/Mr_Conductor_USA 2d ago

For real, the latest tradwife delusional talking point is some Bible verse that supposedly says the wife should be doing all the housework and bringing home the bacon so the headship can lie flat on the recliner all day, apparently.

It's amazing that men can cry that "feminism" made men redundant and then they make themselves redundant, like why should a working mom have to care for an extra 200lbs of manbaby? If you want to be a dad so bad, then be one.

9

u/momoko84 2d ago

But if the Godly Tradwives™️ are the official Keepers of the Home and Hearth and MLM scheme, then what is left for Godly men like Paul? I feel like they would say 'Biblical Protector', but from what? The queer teen working at the supermarket? The woman working out at the gym in yoga pants? He's not even good at it when his priorities are mainly himself.

6

u/VampyreJourno81 2d ago

But did you repeatedly flip your hair while writing this?

153

u/lrlwhite2000 3d ago

So I’m a tennis player, not a pickleball player. If I wound up in that position in tennis, I’d be told the following, “You got too close, you need to extend your racket, left arm out for balance.” Is that a thing in pickleball? Is this decent form?

127

u/M0therTucker 3d ago

Awful form. And i'm not even that good, just played in a few casual tournaments with moderate success.

If this is his body position at impact, his timing and feet placement are WAY off

96

u/only_zuul21 Big Boy Patriarch 3d ago

u/thisisthatacct 3d ago edited 3d ago

This is how I would play pickleball too, but the tennis backhand is too ingrained in me to just one hand dink it over. But every video I see (granted the only pickleball videos I see are Paul's) have him facing square down court and never turning his body, just flailing to whatever side the ball is on to hit it back

I'm neither, but pretty darn good at badminton. Even I can tell his form stinks. You can see some actual pros playing here and while I still think it looks like Big Ping Pong, their form is at least natural and athletic looking, as opposed to Paul's stiff self. https://youtu.be/pthJ1IQPqGE?si=7wBSvporD0jpYVsz

64

u/CodeAcceptable385 2d ago

Oh my god. I’ve never really seen pickleball being played (or never paid attention). I just watched a little of this video and I had no idea how SLOW THIS GAME IS!!! From all the posts he’s made about how “intense” it is and the action shots he’s taken, I just assumed it was a lot faster paced. More intense. My god. 🤦‍♀️ This is like…slow motion big ping pong.😂😂😂

32

u/-rosa-azul- 🌟💫 Bitches get Niches 💫🌟 2d ago

Right?! I'm mentally comparing it to Olympic ping pong, which is extremely fast-paced and those people are BEASTS. This is hilarious. I mean go play and have fun if you want, never gonna snark on people getting any kind of exercise that works for them. But as a pro sport, oh man 😂

12

u/CodeAcceptable385 2d ago

Exactly! Have fun, sure, but making it your career??? Just, no.😝

16

u/SunshineAndSquats Cum Dumpster 4 Christ ✝️💦🙏🏻 2d ago edited 2d ago

I worked at a gym that had pickle ball courts. The old people who used them would always get in shouting matches over other people being near the court, or whose turn it was to play. So every time I see Pauls posts about “recovering” from pickle ball, I just think about how he’s struggling with a game played by grumpy old people. It is not an athletic game in the slightest.

9

u/Significant_Shoe_17 🎾Paul admiring his glistening picklebod in the mirror🥒🏓 2d ago

That just emphasizes HOW uncoordinated and not athletic he is

13

u/Significant_Shoe_17 🎾Paul admiring his glistening picklebod in the mirror🥒🏓 2d ago

I saw a group playing at the park and had the same thought. It's so gentle?? And dude is acting like he's playing singles tennis against roger federer 😂

8

u/justadorkygirl professional thrower of the boomerang 🪃 2d ago

I caught a match on TV once when I went out to grab some carryout, and it made me think of slow tennis. Interesting to watch, but no, that is not a fast game, and it’s not meant to be. Paul throwing himself at the game like he’s going up against Serena Williams is genuinely hilarious.

Is the excellence in the room with us now?

7

u/FatDesdemona ...she revealed was WOMAN. 2d ago

It's never even walked by the door to the room.

108

u/elvie18 3d ago

I have never seen someone claim to work out so often and have so little muscle definition. But also, practicing is useless if you're practicing doing something badly. Does the man have a coach, take lessons, anything?

51

u/-rosa-azul- 🌟💫 Bitches get Niches 💫🌟 3d ago

I subscribe to the theory that he is either "training" a lot less than he claims, or he's keeping a calorie deficit. He learned at his daddy's knee that being healthy means being thin, and that's as far as this bird-brain ever got with anything personal training-wise.

24

u/Throwaway392308 2d ago

It's possible that he works out a lot less than he says and that he fakes injuries for attention/an excuse not to be useful, but he strikes me as a true believer in his toxic health beliefs. He's probably working out a lot with bad form and poor nutrition which leads to... Whatever we have now in front of us. An arthritic flamingo in the throes of an aneurism?

13

u/dol_amrothian authentic flavour enhancer of Protestant beliefs 2d ago

Don't besmirch flamingos, they're an excellent bird.

4

u/FBWSRD God Honouring Child Neglect 2d ago

Also shit diet means injuries last longer, so that could be a factor

5

u/Throwawayycpa 2d ago

Some people are just built differently (not saying he actually is working out 100%) but I know a guy who put all his effort on working out and due to his body composition, he still had very thin legs. He never was able to be as “jacked” as other guys with the same effort.

I feel like Paul would see a similar result even if he actually tried

3

u/BeigeParadise Laughing at Salad 2d ago

There's also sports where small, thin guys can excel. For example, in cycling, the top mountain climbing guys are usually a twig of a guy, and sometimes rather short, because that means having to cycle less weight up the damned mountain at top speeds. And I'm pretty sure nobody will try to tell people like Tadej Pogacar (this year's Tour de France winner, who's 5 ft 9 and 146 lb) that he's not athletic.

But Paul? I don't know what, exactly, Paul is doing, but he should get a job.

My high school orchestra teacher always said “practice makes permanent, not perfect” if you’re practicing bad form, you’re just going to keep performing poorly

11

u/firetrainer11 hefty she-elf 2d ago

Exactly. He is training himself to be bad.

36

u/hickorystyx 3d ago

Right? Like he can repeat all he wants but if he is using poor technique and form then all he is doing is creating bad habits

10

Doubtful. Instead of ice baths and stretching he should invest in a coach. After all, he is going pro.

2

u/FBWSRD God Honouring Child Neglect 2d ago

You have to have a decent amount of protein to build muscle, and he only just learnt that protein is necessary. So with all the fast food trips he probably has a shit diet with not enough protein

46

u/hcgilliam 3d ago

I mean, that’s just simply, observably not true.

SOMETIMES focused repetition may breed excellence, but sometimes you’re just not good at something no matter how much you wish you were. And that’s ok.

Most of us learn this as children, Paul.

Oh my turn! I'm sure it must be difficult to come up with such profound motivational messages.

  • I'm hardset on my grindset.

  • If you can dream it, you deserve it.

  • The steeper the mountain, the higher you climb.

  • A true entrepreneur doesn't man up, he levels up.

  • If you don't take action to achieve your goals, then you're chasing your dreams on a treadmill.

  • Don't count your debts, count your blessings.

  • Half the journey is having the courage to keep moving forward, no matter what the haters say.

  • Don't search for excellence, create it.

  • If you always look on the bright side, you can't see the darkness of failure.

  • Real living is not surviving, it's thriving.

  • You are always enough. Money, however is never enough.

  • 1 Tim 5:8 And the Lord said, get a job, Paul.

I guess it’s not true for Paul because his wife still has to brag about having sex with him on social media— making it so obvious that she’s unsatisfied.

u/G00DJOBLARRY 2d ago

He really just has that one pair of shorts huh

u/Interesting_Vibe 2d ago

Focused repetition only breeds excellence if you aren't continuously repeating the skill wrong.

5

u/orange_glasse 2d ago

God his form sucks

3

u/SuperbAd8266 3d ago

Apparently not for everyone

u/flchic2000 3d ago

At least not wearing the cropped shirt today

3

u/BotGirlFall 2d ago

You can tell how much hes flailing around just from this picture

3

u/omegadefern 2d ago

Sorry, but in his case, doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result = insanity.

3

u/TheNatureOfTheGame Hellbound heathen witch 2d ago

But all he repeats is being sucky.

u/PuppyJakeKhakiCollar 🎶 With wombs wide open🎶 2d ago

You know what else has focused repetition? A job!

3

u/AlexandriaLitehouse 2d ago

Did he just type "practice makes perfect" into a thesaurus app?

3

u/FartofTexass the other bone broth 2d ago

ChatGPT, what’s an overwrought way to say practice makes perfect?

u/boommdcx Squirting for Jesus 2d ago

Amateur pickleballer at 30something with an unwell SAHM wife, two little kids, no job, no assets and no clue.

3

u/darkwoodscreature 2d ago

Its crazy to me that he apparently trains constantly and is supposedly running and jumping and bouncing all around for hours playing/practicing this game, plus i would assume gym time on top of it, and yet he still has the most string bean contour-less straight up and down chicken legs i have ever seen in my life.

3

u/quinichet 2d ago

I forgot to grab a screenshot, but Sunday he posted a story about how worn out he was from riding his bike to the store. You know, the pro athlete.

5

u/RapidDriveByFruiting 2d ago

Absolutely zero calf definition. I’m cackling. He takes this so seriously and apparently works so hard yet doesn’t even have a little muscle build to show for it.

6

u/impala_croft How many kids do I have again? 3d ago

Lil chicken legs paulie

2

u/Individual_Land_2200 2d ago

Either the premise is wrong, or he’s not doing it

2

u/Ashwee54 2d ago

Spindly legs

2

u/keepingthisasecret Cowbells for the Lord 2d ago

Mmmkay so is he missing the focus or the repetition do we think? Cause whatever he’s breeding (🤢) it sure ain’t excellence.

2

u/ChemicalWorker576 2d ago

You know, Paul, you don't have to post every toilet thought ...

Him saying “breeds”

2

u/StrawberryRedneck 2d ago

I still just cannot believe this man is for real. I cannot imagine having children with him dear god

2

u/GhostBeefSandwich hamburger helpmeet 2d ago

Apparently not

2

u/BlueberryBunnies13 2d ago

not when you practice with such shitty form, Paul.

2

u/Anibeth70 microwaved coffee (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ 2d ago

He’s like the last noodle stuck to a dry pot. Ya gotta pull and scrape at it for it to come loose so you can send it down the drain. Go down the drain, Polio…you’re over done.

u/15amrb15 MLM-multi level marriage 2d ago

OMG this guy. Get a job already.

2

u/laila-wild 6.66 on the Dawkins Scale 2d ago

So why aren’t you excellent, Paul? 🤔

2

u/Miserable-Lab2178 2d ago

Paul needs a dominant woman this is just embarrassing.

I have to imagine those shorts remember every loss.  They have to be imbued with bad luck by now.

2

u/RalphMacchio404 2d ago

How the hell would he know?

2

u/austin1430 2d ago

he just does not look athletic 😭💀

Wow Paul, did you come up with that yourself? No one that has ever tried to get good at anything has ever thought of that before..

1

u/LineImpossible3958 2d ago

Where’s this excellence?

1

u/No-Appeal3220 2d ago

I think it would hit harder if it was someone who had actually achieved excellence.

1

u/the-painted-lady Harlot on the prowl 2d ago

Precise movements done continuously create performance improvements.

Stfu paul and go take care of your family
