What would they do? Look at the start. The humans are second story like the cats and far away. What could human have done differently??

If you've ever had cats, you know you can break up just about any car fight with a loud hissing sound, or really any loud sound. Just clapping and shouting is enough sometimes.

But you can't know that until you try.

I have VAST experience with "trying"

You just didn't scream loud enough. You have to be loud enough that your parents cat who hunted a squirrel stops, a passerby who walks their dog and the dog stopping, your dog which you are walking stops, and even the squirrel which is being hunted stops in its tracks.

I would shout HEY. That usually would be enough to stop the cat temporarily and allow the other cat a chance to climb up. I would also start making my way closer to assist. ANYTHING but whip out the phone to record like a dumbass

Right... because a possible dead cat is hilarious, unless you have the proof to prove the cat is otherwise alive and safe, and the dumbass recorded this made every attempt to save the cat from a fall of unknown height?

You can literally see the bottom at the very start if it makes you feel better
