I dont really think its any less weird that donating money to millionaires running in tights grabbing balls. And then, get this, after they are done with the career of ball grabbing they talk, and people give them more money for it.
That.. took me a second.. but yeah. It’s exactly like valuing a celebrities opinion on politics. You sang a catchy song or acted in a fun popular movie and suddenly you think you can actually tell people how to vote?
Everyone who buys a hat for more than $5, a jersey for more than $15. Tickets for more than $5. Pay perview. Parking at a stadium. More than $3 for a hotdog or $4 for a budweiser.
Your $600 sports event or $100 bar bill pays the way up to franchise owners and athletes. Millionaires and billionaires.
