Photo I finally camped alone for the first time!
Thanks to the women in this sub for sharing your stories! You gave me the push I needed to get it done. I camped in one of the fields at my sister’s farm in middle Georgia, and while her house was a tenth of a mile away, it still felt like a comfortable start. I’m ready to try a state park next!

Fantastic!!! I solo backpack camped at Cumberland Island Stafford Beach. It was definitely an experience. Here’s to all us Bad A&$ Bitches!!!!

Well, what did you think of it? Love to hear your thoughts about it. It’s been a ling time since my first solo. Did you back yard solo? Looks like a misty morning!

Back field camping—I could see the house in the distance, but was far enough away to feel alone and vulnerable. I was a lot less afraid than I thought I would, even when I walked out in the dark and caught bright green eyes in my headlamp (I just waved at the opossum and kept going). I definitely want to keep doing it!

I love this! I went to see the little Grand Canyon and stayed at a little park near there and then also at one near Augusta. I ended up doing a little trip going to some places around Weat and south GA

Yassss!! That was me this weekend!! I went to black rock mtn but got the closest to the lit wash house site lol. One step at a time girl! We got this!! I hope you enjoyed your time alone!! I’m in Ga too if you ever want to camp 😊
