DISCUSSION A year of struggle, but I found a little joy. [Discussion]
I've been dealing with depression for over a year now. Every day has felt like a battle. The meds they put me on? They just made it worse - nausea, stomach pain, feeling numb, you name it.
I was looking for anything to help, trying to break the cycle. And then, about a month ago, I took a ride on my Puckipuppy ebike. It's just a simple bike, but it helped me feel something.
While riding, I found a little dog who had been abandoned. Felt like fate, honestly. I'm not saying the bike "fixed" me, but it gave me the space I needed to clear my head, and that little pup? She's been my rock since.
I'm not 100% better, but I've been feeling more joy than I've had in months. And that's something.

Dogs really are the best. We have two golden retrievers ourselves. I don’t think a single day goes by that they don’t bring me or the rest of my family joy. We didn’t always have dogs in our home but we will forever have them now.

I totally agree! Dogs just have this way of making everything better. Golden Retrievers are such loving companions - they must bring so much joy to your family. I can't imagine my life without my pup now. It's amazing how much love and happiness they bring into a home.

Dogs are furry love givers - I’ll always have them around. Glad you found one - sounds like y’all both win.

just a simple bike
Give yourself some credit, that’s a $1k - $2k bike minimum depending on what you’re riding. You’re doing something right if you’re riding one of those! Many people would love to experience that!

Yeah, I don't have a huge budget either. This one was about $1200, but honestly, I'm happy with it. The ride's great, and I'd definitely encourage anyone thinking about getting into cycling to give it a shot. It's unique right off the bat, but you get what you pay for. Don't go for the super cheap ones - they're usually a disaster.

Your doggy is so adorable! I’m sure it’s a win-win for both of you because you had the chance to save her life while your dog brings joy to your life. Wishing you many happy years together as you love each other and make each other happy.
