Most quotes will hit home for a lot of people. For others it's like, there's more to it.
Like "the customer is always right" thing, causally leaving out "in matters of taste". Changes its meaning entirely.
But I just wrote on my mirror "plan the hour, not the weekend" because I realized thinking about how to fit everything I need to do into the weekend was just too much. I'll just live the weekend hour by hour, and I'll probably be more productive and happier so I'm not dreading the entire weekend.
Hear hear! I prefer to reserve my imagination for creative things and daydreaming/fantasizing rather than imagining want, lack, and woe. I do not understand suffering in one’s imagination, unless this is referring to a diseased imagination in which one imagines the worst possible outcomes.

I can imagine not having to work to make ends meet, but in reality I have to. I prefer my work-free imagination.
