Question GBP for a SAB Suspended
Hi everyone,
I just started a concrete coating business and I’m trying to create a Google Business Profile (GBP). Unfortunately, it keeps getting suspended, and I’ve already appealed twice with no luck. (Deceptive Content)
I registered the business as a Service Area Business (SAB) and included my home address (the same one listed on my Articles of Organization). I’ve also submitted my DBA certificate and other documents to prove this is a legitimate business.
From what I’ve read, it seems suspensions are really common for SABs, but I’m not sure how to actually resolve this. Has anyone dealt with this before, and what steps finally worked to get reinstated?
Any guidance would be hugely appreciated!

Suspensions aren't more common for SABs. The issue is usually that you need to provide to Google authoritative paperwork that shows your business name and address on all of it. And add as much paperwork as possible. I try to have at least five documents to present.

Thank you so much for helping!! I attached articles of organization, certificate of DBA, equipment, branded PPE.. I just realized that I did not have the address in my business google account (I thought it was not necessary since it was a SBA) but I am pretty sure this is the issue!! I will add it and try to have it approved! Will update as soon as I have something back from google! =D

My fiancée is having the same issue as a painter and it’s driving us nuts! I have appealed and provided business registration documents with matching names and addresses but still suspended for “deceptive content” with no clarification on what exactly is “deceptive”. There seems to be no way to contact google at all, even posting on their forum got me nowhere. I don’t know what to do 😫

Same situation here I have two businesses. Both of them are suspended. This is unbelievable what Google does it crazy crazy no way to win. I have legit business lot of reviews and it’s gone ,every time I try to re appeal i send all the proof still suspended.

Hello,
Mobile- and home-based businesses that perform work elsewhere should use a real physical address that is hidden by turning off the "Show business address to customers" under Location and Areas to become a Service-Area Business.
Since you've exhausted both of your appeals, you must now be escalated for review at the Google Help Community.
Include a link to a shared Google Drive folder containing:
- Screenshot images of the Business Profile: About, Contact, Location ‘edit’ tabs
- Government license, business registration, fictitious firm name (DBA) documents, tax certificate, professional insurance, and utility bills (hide sensitive info) that display the business name and address matching the profile.
- Photos of permanent fixed signage outside the business location (for published address)
- Photos of work equipment and trade tools (for mobile- and service-area business)
- A document containing:
- Legal business name
- Business address (one used for verification, even if hidden)
- Profile ID (guide on where to find this)
- Case ID [#] in subject line of email from Google support
- Clickable link to business website URL
- Clickable link to BBB or Chamber of Commerce profile page (USA and Canada)
Reply back here with a link to your post, and I will inspect for policy violations and escalate this matter to Google for resolution if applicable.

Hello. what do I do if i don't have a photos of permanent fixed signage outside the business location (for published address). I don't have a BBB either. I checked and it's expensive to join. I have a cleaning business with registered EIN and LLC from ND STATE.

Well, Google requires permanent fixed signage in order to publish the address. But that is only one of the criteria; the other is that you must conduct your business at that address.

Im running a cleaning business. I go to clients homes to clean so I dont have a business address. I have other proof that its legit and registered including uniform and registration

As a cleaning business you should be hiding your address, which is probably a home address anyway. It essentially makes the map pin invisible.
