Has HBO dropped the new Sunday night show? I only see a few shows that don't appeal to the masses. What are you watching tonight?

I'm just very upset I pay so much money every month, and I can't even watch one of my favorite shows. Did HBO MAX/WBD ever explain why they made this decision...

I’ve been highly invested in the Pitt since I started it a few days ago. I’ve got three episodes left, and when I got home from work and decided to finish out the season, it’s not there anymore. I can watch the trailer, but I can’t watch the rest of the show. What happened? Why can I see the thumbnail and trailer, but not actually watch the show?

This is very frustrating bc I barely get invested in TV, and the one time I do, this happens. I can watch everything else, BUT the show I want to watch.

I was in the middle of watching The Pitt on the HBO Max app and the episodes themselves seemed to have disappeared? I can no longer stream it which seems odd given it’s an HBO original?

I thought the focus on Sonora Thomas, and her work as a grief counselor, was excellent. The idea that grief is aided by community support is helpful.

I'm less positive about whether this added anything new to the equation. Weren't the Defendants charged, part of "the Creek People"? And weren't the creek people just juvenile delinquents?

Is the documentary implying Ludin and his friend were involved? Pierce pins Ludin in his 91 statements--but Ludin says in the last episode he had already given them DNA. Presumably he was cleared.

Was it a fair depiction of what law enforcement had on the Defendants, which was a lot more than what was depicted? (Read the appeals court opinions of all the stuff that happened at their trials.) The juries got to watch 12 and 18 hour snippets. We got a few minutes

Unpopular to say, but I think this should have been a bit longer. As a "for instance", I think in cases without much physical evidence, FBI profiling becomes very important, and we heard nothing on that front.

HBO Max has recently entered the Turkish market by buying off local platform BluTV. So far, I see the material available is mostly in line with the American version. But I’ve been searching some true crime documentaries that are curated on “best true crime on HBO” lists but I can’t find many. Does anyone have an idea why? It might be an operational issue regarding the pace of translation for the Turkish subtitles – not sure. Any input is appreciated, thank you.

I was in the middle of episode 14 and it said an error occurred. When I went back in the app the pitt wasn’t there anymore. The only option was for watching trailer like it’s not on HBO max anymore. 😭

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Reset the TV to factory defaults. Not all shows come in like this.

Can HBO Max users access Dolby Atmos features on the basic plan?

I cannot stand how HBO makes you wait a week for each episode...so annoying!!! I think they would have higher ratings if they got with the program and just released them all at once like every other streaming service worth a darn. I dont watch anything that makes me freaking wait so long and then I decide to wait and watch after the episodes are all released but I end up forgetting about it all together and I then I dont watch it at all. If we wanted a networky show with networky behaviors we would just watch basic cable and not pay extra every single month for such horrendous treatment of loyal customers. I hate waiting !! (Im sure some will say we are an impatient generation that only has instant gratification in our blood because we are soft as cotton, but trust me, Im old. And I hate waiting !! ) So annoying HBO...it doesnt make the show seem any better by having to wait. It just pisses me off lol Its go binge or go home.

I’ve noticed a recent change in HBO Max behavior on my TV. A few months ago, when I played a series with Bulgarian audio and turned off subtitles, the next episodes would automatically start with Bulgarian audio and no subtitles.

Now, even though I select Bulgarian audio and turn off English subtitles, every new episode automatically has subtitles enabled again. I’ve checked: • TV subtitle settings are off • Audio/subtitle settings in HBO Max are correct • The app is updated

It seems like HBO Max is now forcing subtitles for every episode when using dubbed audio. This never happened before.

Has anyone else noticed this? Any workaround to make subtitles stay off for the whole series?

Olive Kitteridge - I rewatch it every couple of years. It’s a heavy watch, at times…but god, it moves me. How it depicts the extraordinary in ordinary life. How it shows what lurks beneath the surface. How our wounds shape our entire lives. How complex most people are; in their desires and feelings. Frances McDormand’s performance as Olive is one of my favorites; the hidden tenderness beneath the bluntness and sharpness. You hate her, but you also can’t help but love her.

This show was ahead of its time. Show should have been 4-5 seasons. It was fun and funny, cast was likable. Depicted this lifestyle well in NY.
