Christ. Cops don't get to hit people. They're peace officers. They can defend themselves. They can't slap people in retaliation. That's the price of being a cop. They can file charges, go to court, extract justice. Sue if they must, but they're still peace officers, and peace officers are the only people in civilized society who are allowed to use force against the populous, and only in circumstances that leave no other option. It's a grave responsibility that's taken far too lightly these days.

They aren't peace officers anymore. They changed the name years ago. They are LEOs now. Law enforcement officers.

Funny, I don't remember which specific law being enforced here says you can go around cracking people's jaws off their face?

Slight smack to the back of the head =/= knocking her front teeth out

They're not the same level of violence

If the law doesn't care then I'm sorry for you. I'm assuming you're in the states, in Which case if this type of reaction is considered appropriate then all of the police brutality problems will never go away.

There's no need to pity us in the states. 99.9999999% of people go about their business everyday not getting struck by a police officer. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I get that, I'm just saying that the ones defending the officer are probably also the ones that will cry brutality if it ever happens to them. I've seen videos of good officers etc too, the ratio of videos just seems the wrong way

She can file a claim for police brutality, might end up with a bit of a payout depending on how injured she was and how outrageous her behavior was overall. Why was she being removed at all? Was she just spilling beer on people or did she just stab a rival fan in the throat?

It was a punch to the face, how is this so damn violent? A lot of people here haven’t been hit in the face, it really isn’t that big of a deal.

Excessive Force. Excessive force refers to force in excess of what a police officer reasonably believes is necessary. ... Whether the police officer has used force in excess of what he reasonably believed necessary at the time of action is a factual issue to be determined by the jury.

they can do what they want and face a jury later.

is that another term for steroid driven psychopathic cunts? why yes I think it is.

6

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '17

Steroid driven? Are you sure you are talking about the same nervous fat pigs that we see on videos all the time?

-3

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '17

Fat pig policemen probably use even more steroids, but are too lazy to do the work, so just have the rage, or the fear, and yeah these 4 were probably afraid of a 50kg drunk been held and molested by 4 assholes.

You’re responding to a troll account FYI

I accept that 60% of all accounts on reddit are Troll/shill/paid PR accounts, but thanks for the info.

Function of the police isn't to fight crime, the function of police is solical control and protection of property
