I do cat scans. One drunk or drug addict after another some days, especially on the weekends. Sometimes you feel like slapping them but I always felt like they would just become more agitated. I never gave a thought to knocking them unconscious tho. Wait that wouldn't be ethical.
Ah alright, my bad man. I did hospital security for three years and our radiologist always helped if shit went down. I went through some of your comment history and it is clear that you don't have a great view of law enforcement. However, in this instance, they did not "fail" their job. Restraining a belligerent person, as you know, can be very difficult especially if that person is violent. Maybe the cop should not have retaliated and used force, but the use of force in this scenario is by law justified.
Ya you're right. it's nothing like the video. I can't just drag them from one place to another and knock them unconscious if they resist with no repercussions. I have to get them to hold perfectly still while their family members are standing in the background threatening to sue us if we do anything wrong. Not only do I have to restrain them, I actually have to care about them as a human being and realize that, while they brought it upon themselves, at the moment they're incapable of acting rationally and I need to protect them from hurting themselves or me. I don't get a paid vacation if I lose my temper because I took a little slap to the face. I lose my job. So gfy.

You clearly never have had to restrain a person who is non-compliant...
