LaDispute, Anyone?
It was an accident I swear it wasn't meant for him.

These guys and Touche Amore always go hand in hand for me

Saw them together for my first post Covid lockdown show. It was intensely cathartic.

Ever since someone told me the frontman sounds like Gene Belcher from Bobs Burgers I can’t listen to them.

Somewhere at the Bottom of the River is a top 10 or 15 album of all time for me. Haven't super jived with most of their post-Wildlife material but I've really liked what I've heard from the new album, stoked to give it a spin tomorrow

Did not like wildlife when it first came out, gave it a re-listen recently and really liked it.

I've seen them play a hometown show here in Grand Rapids, I don't think I've ever seen a more energetic room
I fuck with some of their earlier stuff but haven't listened to much of the new stuff

The new album is incredible, I highly recommend checking it out. Very much reminds me of Wildlife. The last two songs off the album were finally released today so you can listen to it in full!

Those old Skelletones shows during the Vancouver days is what got me into hardcore in the first place. I check out all their releases but like you just doesnt hit the same.

Man, RIP Skelletones. I remember an against me show upstairs there where you could feel the floor buckling.
I think it’s a headshop now

Honestly they got me into hardcore. The whole melodic scene with La Dispute, Touche, PBTT, and Self Defense Family are perfect. For me La Dispute and Self Defense continued to get better while the rest became just okay. The new La Dispute record is amazing. And for everyone saying Mwy is better, check out the new album by La Dispute because a lot of songs sound like A to B life to me.

Checked out their new album yesterday, really grew on me as I was listening. I’m a fan, but I think on the wrong day, the vocals can become a bit grating, they can feel on one level tonally, like Fucked Up.

La Dispute has a special place in my heart. Seen them last year in Amsterdam for the first time and it was emotional

I bought a ticket to Indiana and a plane ticket to get me there before even finishing the album. They won’t come to me, so I found a way to get to them.

So hard to listen to them after my best friend passed away from cancer. One of our favorite bands, at least we got to see them play wildlife completely. Regret not moshing during that show.

One of the best shows I’ve been to this year. Glitterer’s set was amazing as well.

Underrated band, underrated song writers, best lyricist in the game. They just released their best album also.

I've never really understood the appeal of these guys. They always felt like post-hardcore for tweens.
But hey, to each their own I guess. Weird to see them in this sub.

i like them, but i miss when the fans would get bullied on the b9 board for liking them. it’s not a band to be proud of liking

I love pianos and touché amore but absolutely not. Saw them once, didn’t particularly care for them and their fans left en masse the moment they ended with several bands left to play.

Used to love La Dispute, and still listen to the early stuff, but I just can't get into anything they've released since Wildlife. It just sounds...boring to me.
