Since you posted an Aus band, these are some of my favourite newer Australian releases, a few are from last year.

Forewarned - Only God Forgives.

Blood On My Hands - Death Through Devotion.

Volatile Ways - The Perfect Dark.

Resurrect - Salvation.

Fever Shack - Not Fuckin About.

Zero Hour - Zero Hour.

Cutthroat - Demo.

Threshold - Decent to Misery.

Splinter - The Hill I’ll Die On.

Only God Forgives is everything I want in a hardcore record. I’ve seen them 10 times, and have tickets to see them another 3 times this year, I absolutely love that band.

Love it, thanks for the list!

Cosigning on Forewarned, listening now and it's really fucking good.

A friend of mine lives in Hobart so always tries to keep me updated on new bands, both local and wider Australian, hopefully I'll get over there and see some of them!

I haven’t been there, but Tasmania has a surprisingly healthy scene. Severed are a good band from there.

Throw Identity Error, Thantu Thikha, Dance, Ends In Tragedy and XRetributorX in there as well

(I saw Resurrect open for Sunami the other day and someone got knocked out in the first 30 seconds)

I think I used up 99% of my life’s luck in that Resurrect pit, I somehow didn’t get hit once. People were getting rocked all around me hahaha. Love all the bands you mentioned too, I sadly missed Dance when they were in Melbourne so I need to get catch them next time. Loved that Retributor ep as well, hopefully they make it to Melbourne soon.

Look out for Scram, 270, No Harm and Human Condition too

I think No Harm are the only ones with a proper release, but they are all sick. 270 are legit just 15 year olds and they fucking RIP.

I saw these guys open for Speed in Sydney a while back. They slap hard. Pre ordered this vinyl on my phone after they played. Their drummer had the biggest smile on her face the whole set. So wholesome. Love these guys.

I saw them open for speed in brissy which put me on to them! IMO they’re the ideal band in terms of performance and showing they’re loving every minute. Great band

And as an old fella, seeing young people making and loving heavy music warms the cockles of my jaded heart.

Good to hear, as a younger bloke haha.

Their drummer is my favourite part about seeing them, she looks like she’s having the best time.

Spotify keeps telling me to listen to them because they claim it’s similar to end it

I brushed it off because I figured it was some bullshit comparison made up from an algorithm

Are they actually comparable to end it musically?

2

u/WaterboardingFurbies 18h ago

They’re not “end it” but can see the comparison and reckon they’re worth checking out still!

u/whitemike40 18h ago

Their older EP has a sample of Killa Killa from Gangsta Pat. They’re great.

Shout out to the people who always post there recommendations or what they’re listening to that kicks ass on this sub

Cause of you guys I have 2+ years worth of hardcore to listen too that just keeps growing from reading and adding these ep/album/ song suggestions to my spotify. I haven’t stopped setting PR’s lifting since January cause of these jams lmao
