IRL Sabrina hate might be fair… BUT!!

Post image

The girl is iconic lol. I absolutely loathed her the first few times I watched her. But the more I do rewatches, the more I can enjoy her for what she is. She’s an immature, inexperienced chef who makes damn good tv. I really think she carries the season. The drama brought by Russell was a “hate to hate” drama. The drama brought by Trev was a “this is sad to hate but I do.” The drama brought by King Raj was simply too short lived. But Sabrina brought the heat all the time. And quiet as it’s kept, even though she was completely wrong in her approach most of the time, she really had her finger to the pulse about most of the other chefs and their shortcomings lol. I agree she was kept on just for comedy, but she earned that.

I don't hate Sabrina at all, she cracks me up. I love watching how she single-handedly kept all the chefs on that season hopping. And really, for someone with her brief experience and maturity issues, she was a pretty darn good chef. There were very few times she didn't carry her own weight in challenges and service, and several times she was the difference that got them the win.

I also think she showed a lot more poise coping with Trev than some of the other chefs would have, if he'd come after them the way he went after her. I tried hard to have sympathy for him that season, but it just went out the window with the things he said to/about her. And others as well.

I feel like very few people have the self confidence and self awareness to do a really amazing job of presenting themselves on a cutthroat reality tv show at the age of 22. I'd truly love to see them bring her back and see what she could do now.
