Episode Season 15 final team selections Spoiler
The women all HATED Jackie and Jared was a talented black jacket chef. How is it possible that Jackie was a first round pack and Jared was last? Did the finalists coordinate it just for the bit?

The women did NOT all hate Jackie let's be honest the only people who did NOT like Jackie was, Kristin and Meese. Jackie is a hustler in the kitchen people underestimate her as a chef because she's only been cooking for 3 months! Plus, Jackie was Ariel's closest friend she picked people who she knew she could count on and trust, That's what I loved about Ariel she gave Jackie a chance while Kristin always looked down at her because she was only cooking for 3 months that shows her leadership abilities and qualities
Jarad all the chef's saw how he had a total meltdown on the fish station when Ashley said they were NOT friends and he lost focus, I can see why Ariel picked Jackie FIRST and NOT Jarad after witnessing that horrific black jacket Dinner service

I mean, there was that one episode where 3/4 black jackets (I’m not counting Jared himself among those four) who didn’t go on the reward said Jared didn’t have a spine… and then Kristen (the last black jacket who wasn’t there) didn’t even pick him for her brigade despite first choice. Despite him clearly buttering up to her.
He’s solid at leadership when nobody else is in charge. The second he’s next to other good leaders? It is very difficult to maintain respect for him, if late S15 and S17 (that blue team had VERY strong leaders with only a few exceptions) are anything to go off. Off leadership he’s hard to watch, and possibly hard to work with.
As for cooking? Solid per S15 standards, but overall inconsistent. And to be fair, most chefs that season were overall inconsistent. He was just a bit less inconsistent than S15 average.

Crazy that Jackie ended up being MVP for Ariel's finale service while Dannie ended up leaving in the finale

I haven’t watched that episode or that season, but it is possible that the finalists admired Jackie’s talent/determination and just didn’t like Jared.
Sometimes you want to pick a talented chef you might not get along with because they can at least cook and not make basic mistakes. On the other hand, you might shun a talented chef if you don’t like them because chemistry is important on a team. It really depends on you.
