We know who was the best in challenges overall (probably Mia), but who was best in challenges during the black jacket phase alone?

Trenton! He won both of the challenges and he scored 48/50 in the final tasting challenge, a record that’s only been tied…

There are a max of five black jacket challenges to win: on a 6-jacket season, there’s the final 6, 5, 4, 3, and the final menu challenge. More recent seasons include the black jacket lounge challenge, but those seasons only include that and the final 5, 4, and final menu challenge. I’ll have to see, but I think Ariel F had a good lead with 3/4 black jacket challenges won.

EDIT: Several chefs have won 3 of the Black Jacket challenges, including Christina M, Dave, Scott, S16 Heather (Black Jacket Lounge, final 5, final menu), Michelle, Mary Lou, and Kyle.

However, as many people mentioned, Trenton holds the record by winning 4/4 Black Jacket challenges (the first Black Jacket lounge challenge, and every challenge afterwards).
