Its an ad. Emergency surgery is going to be much more than 3,000

I have insurance so emergency spine surgery for me was around $1500.

The ad said the hospital bill was around 3,000 not their copay. If you want to believe this is real and not an ad, that's ok,too

Yes and now I’m curious how much they’re getting paid. More importantly there is no affiliate link in the URL so there’s no way to know how effective this campaign is.

Is this an advertisement? They could have very well negotiated with the Hospital themselves instead of searching and searching for help.

This account is not exhibiting any of the traits found in a typical karma farming bot. It is extremely likely that u/BathOpposite1350 is a human.
Dev note: I have noticed that some bots are deliberately evading my checks. I'm a solo dev and do not have the facilities to win this arms race. I have a permanent solution in mind, but it will take time. In the meantime, if this low score is a mistake, report the account in question to r/BotBouncer, as this bot interfaces with their database. In addition, if you'd like to help me make my permanent solution, read this comment and maybe some of the other posts on my profile. Any support is appreciated.
