Best individual performance you've seen for city live
Ok another for you guys - stop me if I'm being annoying!
What is the best individual performance you've seen a city player play live?
I'm talking best player on the pitch for one game specifically. Taking emotion and occasion out of the equation (sorry deano). An individual performance engrained in your memory.
I'm looking for player, game and why? Here's a few which spring to my mind. I must be missing some very obvious ones.
George Boateng Vs Fulham (h) 2008 - first city game in the premier league. Tough 2-1 win after going 1-0 down. Boateng apparently worked so hard that game he physically couldn't take his own boots off afterwards (commendable for a player who could be excused for taking one last pay day).
Bowen Vs Fulham (a) 2019. 3-0 away against a good Fulham team with lots of premier league quality. We all knew Bowen was destined to be an England international at this point and this only cemented that. Special recognition for his part in Eaves goal - top 5 fave hull goals for me!
Huddlestone Vs Sheff Utd (wembley) 2014 - felt like the onus was on Tom in that second half to win the game for city after struggling in the first. Felt like he really stepped up that game and got a great goal to compliment the performance.
Give me some of your own to reminisce about
Cheers
Ben

Greatest goal you've seen scored against City at a home match in person
Hey guys
I'm new here but keen to get involved with the City Reddit discourse.
Question. What is the greatest goal you've seen scored against City live at a home match?
Really struggling to think of any outrageous goals ( I bet theres a few) There's was Hoedt for Watford 2 seasons ago and I remember Lampard scoring a pretty tasty lob from a tight angle.
Let me know what you think

Jakirovic third favourite to be first manager sacked
Seems a bit premature for that

Oxford - First home win of the season!
Fantastic performance from start to finish. Hard to pick a man of the match and even harder to find any negatives.
Both Oxford goals were extremely well taken, could’ve been prevented with tighter marking on the edge of the box but that will come with time.
Gelhardt with a cracking run for our first, and the composure from McBurnie to settle the ball for a finish to score that stoppage time winner was the hallmark of an experienced number 9 we’ve been lacking for oh so long.
Thought Akintola looked bright off the bench, and I am struggling to see where Williams fits into this team after that Giles performance!
As always, keen to hear everyone’s thoughts on a brilliant result.

Junior Fan Park -Away fan question
Hi! Does anyone know if the junior fan park is meant to be exclusively for home fans? It doesn't say anything on the website but does say it requires a prebooked ticket which needs a free account for the hull ticketing website so I just figured I'll check before registering for all of that

Wrexham Reaction
Ndala is a philogene regen, McBurnie needs to be starting week in, week out but Joseph will provide a good burst of energy as a late sub.
Phillips never wants to see a football pitch again while he’s under contract at this club, he is fucking awful.
Wrexham will do well to finish top half I reckon, I think (read hope) that Wrexham have finally slipped out of their depth.
Keen to hear your thoughts, brilliant performance when all is said and done imo but we gave them hope when they deserved anything but and paid the price.

Hull City Football Tickets
Traveling to Hull City for a football game in May of 2026, what is the best way to get tickets? Looks like there are no hospitality packages like Premier teams. Input is appreciated...

NTT20 1-24s
Just watched Not The Top 20's part on Hull which is a bit concerning but not a huge surprise.

Steven Alzate transfer
Hello. I am a fan of Atlanta United visiting your reddit thread for the first time. I watched some Hull City games many years ago when Jozy Altidore joined from MLS (and unfortunately flamed out big time!) But otherwise haven't seen a whole lot. I'm a little more interested in the Championship now that we transferred in Emmanuel Latte Lath from Middlesboro in the winter (he's struggling) and now apparently Steven Alzate from you guys.
So, I have a couple of questions:
(1) What type of player are we getting in Alzate (assuming his physical goes through)? Is he more of a #6 or a box to box type of player? I noticed his offensive stats aren't that great, but I assume he has other attributes that make him worthwhile?
(2) Should I start following Hull City as my "English" team? And if so, what do I need to know?

Sunderland thoughts?
Second half for me was brilliant.
Ndala looks electric, Joseph seems to be growing in confidence too which is great to see.
A lot of the younger lads looked promising too when they came on the pitch.
Don’t think Sunderland looked up to much at all and I can see them really struggling this season. Granted it is pre-season, but they looked off it.
Be great to hear what anyone else thought of the game

Stockport friendly
Missed the game today as I was at work, how did Pharrell Brown look? I’m really hoping he gets a decent run out this season as he looked top notch over in turkey.

Hull City hit with transfer embargo
telegraph.co.ukr/HullCity • u/JB27_HU5 • Jul 03 '25
Transfer latest.
Apparently that’s done.
Shelvey training with the club.
Barry nearly agreed on terms
Waiting for Mcburnie to sign.
Now just for Fin Stevens to come in as RB & Hearing Beck from Liverpool coming in at LB (Blackburn 24/25)
Not heard anything on who the CM is now we’ve dismissed O’Brien links.
All in all some good business is happening compared to last season!

Acun resigned his position at Fenerbahçe. He gave his resignation to Fenerbahçe's president.
I guess this is good news for Hull City?
