Moving to Budapest for a Master’s — Tips on public transport & daily essentials?

Hi everyone, I’ll be moving to Budapest this September for a Master’s program and I’m trying to get ready for a smooth transition into daily life.

I’d really appreciate any tips or recommendations on:

Best SIM card providers for students (good data plans, easy setup) How to get around the city efficiently (monthly passes, student discounts, apps to use) Any essential apps or services locals rely on (for transport, food, delivery, etc.)
