Lots of times that happens bc the road crew added 6" of new paving without changing the signs & warnings.

that happen at a company i worked at with guys hauling towers for the windmills the messed up part is it was permitted by the state. but at the end of the day it is the drivers responsibility.

Yep, the driver is supposed to ordain when they're being lied to. They are also often liable if someone hits them even while stationary. Basically, did damage or injury occur and was there a truck within a 100yrds, blame them.
