GO LISTEN TO MY FRIENDS MUSIC OR ELSE!!!
He doesn't have like near enough views or monthly listeners for how talented he is. Guys just give it a listen cause he's actually cool and really good and he's been going through kind of a rough time lately and his music getting some traction would really cheer him up!

Best Fictional Indie Folk Collaboration Here
A. Riverbed Reveries – Sam Beam & Dan Auerbach 🎸
Why it would be the best: This collaboration is an intriguing blend of Sam Beam's (Iron & Wine) gentle, intricate songwriting and Dan Auerbach's (The Black Keys) gritty, soulful blues-rock. The contrasting styles would likely result in a unique sound that is both delicate and raw. Auerbach's production would likely give the album a rich, analog warmth, while Beam's lyricism would provide the emotional depth. This project has the potential to appeal to fans of both artists, creating a new, compelling genre that could be the most innovative of the three.
B. Paper Towns & Open Skies – Gregory Alan Isakov & Ryan Ross 🛣️
Why it would be a strong contender: This album would be a perfect fit for fans of melancholic, atmospheric folk. Gregory Alan Isakov's somber, poetic storytelling combined with Ryan Ross's (Panic! at the Disco, The Young Veins) more pop-influenced indie rock sensibilities could create a sound that is both introspective and expansive. The result would likely be an album full of sweeping soundscapes and relatable, nostalgic themes, perfect for a long road trip. The collaboration could introduce Isakov's music to a wider audience, and Ross's fans would get to hear his writing in a new, more stripped-down context.
C. Willow & Ash – Robin Pecknold & Jesca Hoop 🦉
Why it has a special edge: This collaboration would be the most sonically cohesive and ethereal of the three. Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) and Jesca Hoop both have a penchant for complex vocal harmonies and mythical, nature-inspired themes. Their voices would blend seamlessly, creating intricate, multi-layered soundscapes. This album would be a masterclass in folk songwriting, with a focus on delicate arrangements and poetic lyricism. It would likely be the most critically acclaimed album of the three, appealing to a niche audience that values intricate, artistic folk music.

Musicians in/around London? Looking for some help with a slowcore/folk/Americana project
Heyy, I’m trying to do some Carissa’s Wierd kind of stuff. I’ve written an album (under the name Fargo) and need some musicians to help me out.
Looking for a drummer who can play slow and soulful, a violinist (seriously), and a singer with soft, feminine vocals. I also need an engineer, producer, etc so if you can do any of that and like this kind of music, let me know. Hell, if you only play the triangle but understand the creative vision, you’re on board.
I’ve linked a playlist below to give a better idea of the sound I’m going for. The first track, ‘Adaptation’, is my song and the first Fargo single. It’ll be rerecorded for the album.
Thanks!

Neil Young – Cortez the Killer 🌌 Just 3 Chords • Raw Acoustic
I’ve been listening to Zuma since I was 5 years old, and Cortez the Killer has always stayed with me. What blows my mind is how the whole song rides on just three chords — Em7, D, Am7 — and still feels endless.
Here’s my raw take: one guitar, one voice, one shot. Nothing fancy, just trying to capture the vibe of the song that’s been part of my life forever.
