Literally Mark:

I personally buy into the headcanon that since mark is half human he has access to shit like adrenaline which is why he’s able to handle dudes that are in theory significantly stronger than him when pushed to his limits

think conquest just miscalculated eve. he saw human glassmissile, did not see human glassnuke. If he had known, Mark was fucked. It was a close to equal W in my mind bc Eve literally removing most of his epidermis instantly was not something Conquest even thought feasible until it happened.

And it probably wouldn't have been a game changer at the start of the fight. If it had happened right at the beginning Conquest would have instantly decapitated Eve before she could pull something else.

Yeah she'd be one of the rare things in the universe that can take down a Viltrumite... speaking of which, when are we going to get a follow-up to Nolan's comic books?

Soon. Nolan arc. She should be higher than space racer in books. Viltrumite threat for sure. She fucked up Conquest. That is beyond Space Racer me think.

Super weird he isn't back yet? I kept waiting for Allen and Nolan to touch down on Earth. "I think i miss my wife" was a whole season ago at this point.

I think that was intentional. Like when Conquest first floated down, and we only saw his shadow, I thought it was Nolan/Allen with perfect timing to comfort Mark. I think the writers wanted us to think Daddy would save the day but Mark (/a major assist from Eve) had to handle this himself.

Conquest mentioned that the execution was scheduled for just before he left. So unless Nolan and Allen made their way to Earth immediately (which they clearly didn't, probably went to the Coalition), they just couldn't make it there in time.

what if we don't because Allen's so hooked on the books that he forgets he has to inform Thaedus for potential clues to pursue on finding a possible viltrumite weakness or vulnerability with the planet.

Yet some random tunnelling bugs and some egg sacks can trap them both.

Yeah he probably figured she'd open with that
