Photo/Video Palestinian supporters step on a puppy wrapped in the Israeli flag. They also attach a zip tie and string around the young puppy’s neck to the Palestinian flag as they smile and laugh.

That actually isn't true at all, during the Turkish earthquakes earlier this year, there was plenty of videos of Muslims rescuing dogs from rubble etc.

Here is something else for you to consider, PeTA gave the mayor of a Texan city a postcard with thanks and a hamper for doing the right thing in euthanising wild dogs and cats. By the CEO of PeTA who believes people shouldn't have pets, whose organisation kills over 96% of the animals they take in, while underfunded animal shelters saves over 96% of the animals taken in.

Makes you wonder.

I have heard Turkey is better at caring for animals than other countries in the region (excluding Israel where it is also a big thing but also not done as well as it could IMO) so it's not representative for the entire ME...

Maybe it has something to do with Turkey being a more secular county since Ataturk times
