Sorry, 7th image unrelated, from the nuclear facility in the south… we toured it on same day as the library lol.

That’s a gorgeous building, last pic I’m assuming is archives of some sort?

You're right. It is called the "treasure" (מטמון) room. In order to preserve the books as best as possible, the oxygen level there is below what we can consume (14% in comparison to 21% as in our air).

The low oxygen level is also one of the reasons a fire can not (I hope so!) break out in there.

At 14% oxygen fire cannot occur? Is that correct?

Not sure. That is, according to the NLI tour guide, but they also take other countermeasures to protect their items.
