Photo/Video An anti-Israel protester claims most Israelis are light-skinned and blonde.

Twitter post

It’s amazing that she thinks most Israelis are light skinned and blonde and are not brown.

Obviously, she has never visited Israel. Leaving aside the fact that most Jews in Israel are brown, how is it that a people who were persecuted for not being European and sent to the gas chambers 80 years ago are suddenly considered white?

On a side note, how have they normalized this racism against white people? Why do we accept ANY racism against ANY race or skin color?

This is not about the Palestinians and Israel, this is pure bigotry and lies.

The progressive movement has gone too far. It's the Jews and Israel now, but it won't end there.

📍Raliegh North Carolina City Council

White israel:

Mizrahi jews

The most recent data indicates that Mizrahi Jews represent about 40% to 45% of Israel's total population. This figure includes those of full or partial Mizrahi ancestry. It's important to note that the term 'Mizrahi' broadly encompasses Jews from various regions in the Middle East and North Africa, and the demographics can vary with new surveys and over time.

Disclaimer: As a firm advocate against discrimination and racism, I want to emphasize my unwavering support for the Jewish people and my unequivocal stance against any form of racism, prejudice, or hatred directed towards them or anyone. It is crucial to condemn racism from any source, including Palestinians, as it goes against the values of equality, respect, and coexistence that we should all strive to uphold. This documentation is intended solely for educational purposes, aimed at fostering knowledge and understanding.

Anti israel protester thinks most Israelis are light skinned and blonde, how have they normalized this racism against white people?

What do these people have to say about druze people who are light (including skin, eyes, hair)? Or Lebanese? Or Syrian? Or even Palestinians? Or the fact that the genes for white skin and even blue eyes originated in the middle east?

There was a post the other day from someone who is a Palestinian Christian.

They were sayin Ah-ha! This shows that Palestinians are the ones genetically connected to the land.

I was wondering why it mattered - Al-Masri and El-Kurd Are very common surnames that depict a location that is not Palestine, but EVEN IF their grandparents came from elsewhere they still are Palestinian and still belong in Canaan.

I was downvoted.

Blood quanta politics are bad.

You can see this with names on both sides like the Israeli artist Zoya Cherkassky (which is Russian for "of Circassia")

But, if you use the national football teams as a highly visible example of what the people of that nation look like, there's only two blondes on the Israeli team compared to like 8-10 for Poland and Belarus

The Israel International Math Olympiad team has 1 blonde, 1 with brownish hair (it's a buzz cut so it's hard to tell), and 4 with dark hair

This bitch was invited to speak at a Vancouver international womans day event. Her and some woman who tried to blow up the Israeli prime minister. I can't stand this 'feminist'

Who is she?

Ahed Tami or something like that. She went viral initially in the 2014 conflict for essentially cussing out an IDF soldier. Since then she has gained a lot of traction with Gen z in the west and “wrote” a memoir.

By her logic, Ahed Tamimi has no right to live in the Middle East for having blond hair and blue eyes.

“White skin” and blue eyes did not originate in the Middle East unless they originated there on a separate track, that I’m aware of. I’m interested to see where you got this information though. Would you please direct me to the evidence?

Am Yisrael chai.

From: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_skin

"Studies have suggested that the two genes most associated with lighter skin colour in modern Europeans originated in the Near East and the Caucasus about 22,000 to 28,000 years ago,[21] and were present in Anatolia by 9,000 years ago, where their carriers became associated with the Neolithic Revolution and the spread of Neolithic farming across Europe.[23]"

If you'll look at the bottom right of this map, you'll see "origin of blue eyes & light skin"

Edit: it won't let me add the map here so I'll add it in my next comment

Blue eyes originated in Western Europe. The map doesn't say that blue eyes came from the middle east just cause the text is there.

"People of European descent show the greatest variety in eye color of any population worldwide. Recent advances in ancient DNA technology have revealed some of the history of eye color in Europe. Through the analysis of ancient DNA, a 2020 study published in Experimental Dermatology suggested that the common gene for blue eye color likely originated in the Near East and arrived in Europe around 42,000 years ago, after the exodus out of Africa.[18]"

The specific phenotype combination of blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin is a rather recent develompent for human variation, specifically associated with a population associated with the Central European Corded Ware culture.

Blue eyes are generally regarded to have originated among the Western Hunter-gatherers (WHG), early European hunter-gatherers, which were characterized by dark skin but blue/light eyes. This gene may have originated as early as 41kya BCe.

Blonde hair originated multiple times all over the globe, but the relevant gene alleles common to Europeans originated, or were first attested among a distinctive Paleolithic Siberian sample (Afontova Gora 3) not specially closely related to modern Europeans (or East Asians). The population to which this sample belonged formed out of a Paleolithic admixture of early West-Eurasian hunter-gatherers and early East-Eurasian groups (samplified by the (Tianyuan man). The admixture ratio is around 2/1, althought some studies argue for 50/50 ratio.

The same alleles were also later observed among Eastern Hunter-gatherers, in modern day Northeast Europe, which derived varying amounts of ancestry from these Paleolithic Siberians (9–75%); eg. formed a cline. The remainder ancestry was made up by WHG-like ancestry.

Carrying these alleles however does not necessarily mean that the trait is expressed or “activated”, henceforth genotype is not phenotype. Where the allele ultimately originated is still unknown.

As we can see, the gene for blonde hair originated among a non-European population first, but was significantly selected among (mostly) European hunter-gatherer populations and later Steppe pastoralists.

The specific combination of blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin henceforth originated through the admixture of Western/European hunter-gatherers (responsible for the blue eyes), Anatolian/Middle Eastern farmers (responsible for light skin), and Eastern hunter-gatherers, which derive significant amounts from a Southern Siberian population (broadly being a hybrid of deep West-Eurasian and deep East-Eurasian ancestry; responsible for the blonde hair gene).

The WHG mixed with various waves of Early European farmers (EEF) from Anatolia, giving rise to the Neolithic European population. During the late Neolithic and especially since the Bronze Age, Yamnaya-associated Steppe pastoralists and other EHG-rich groups migrated further West, mixing with the Neolithic European population, with Yamnaya-like groups spreading the Indo-European languages throughout Europe, Anatolia and into Central Asia (Afanasievo culture). — Yet, the great majority of Indo-Europeans was still dark haired and brown eyed.

In Europe, a Yamnaya-like population mixed with a local Neolithic European population in Central Europe, giving rise to the Corded Ware culture, one of the major Indo-European cultures, and responsible for the spread of Italic, Celtic, Germanic, Balto-Slavic, and Indo-Iranian. The people of the Corded Ware culture were the first known people to have carried all three gene alleles responsible for blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin at a high frequency, and are regared to have spread this specific phenotype and the respective Indo-European branches.

Oh I think I understand your point. I didn't mean the specific combination of light eyes + light half + light skin, I just meant having light eyes/light skin/ light hair (which, fair, light hair didn't originate in the ME), isn't something which is foreign to the ME, because light hair/light eyes (not the specific combination of both) originated there. I should've probably worded my initial statement better

2

u/Joeyonimo Sweden Mar 15 '24

No, blue eyes originated with the WHG in Western Europe.

The Neolithic farmers from Anatolia brought light skin to Europe, but they didn't have blue eyes.

2

u/B3waR3_S Israeli - ישראלי 🇮🇱❤️ Mar 15 '24

idk man, I showed you what Wikipedia says about what recent studies have shown about the origin of blue eyes

2

u/Joeyonimo Sweden Mar 15 '24

The gene might have originated 42k years ago, but the first groups to show a significant frequency for it were the WHG. Neolithic Middle Easterners did not have the gene for blue eyes, and the gene was rare in EHG.

The corded ware culture originated from the EEF, but their blue eyes came from intermixing with the WHT.

> Studies have suggested that the two genes most associated with lighter skin colour in modern Europeans originated in the Near East and the Caucasus.

> Jews are from the Near East.

> Jews were exiled from the Near East.

> As such, jews spread whiteness around the world.

> Therefore, JEWS ARE WHITE COLONIZERS!
