The clip was shared by journalist Hani Abu Rizq, who was interviewing a woman displaced multiple times over the past 22 months. The sound of gunfire can be heard clearly in the footage.

This comes on the same day that more than 250 outlets in 70+ countries joined a global media blackout to highlight Israel’s systematic targeting of journalists.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry railed against the action as a “synchronized” campaign of “pre-scripted political manifestos against Israel,” claiming that global coverage of Gaza reflects only “the campaign of lies that Hamas spreads.”
