Sightseeing & Activities Half day in Capri - blue grotto/monte solaro chair lift

I am planning to take an early ferry arriving in Capri around 8am. We need to take the ferry back that leaves capri around 2pm.

Ideally we would like to do both the blue grotto and monte solaro chair lift. It's April 13th so sort of shoulder season and hoping the crowds aren't too crazy.

What's the best way to ensure I'm able to fit both of these in? Which gets longer lines first? Looks like blue grotto opens at 9 and the chair lift at 9.30? It would be nice to take a boat around the island too and see the other viewpoints like the natural arch etc but I understand this may be unachievable in this short time frame. Am I being unreasonable? What's the best way to do this? Boat tours? Bus? Taxi?

TIA !

Sorry, don’t have an answer for you but we’re actually going as well on April 21! Our cruise is porting in Naples at 1 PM so we’ll have about eight hours or so. Was planning on going to Capri and really want to do the chairlift. If you’re able to, can you let me know how crowded it is when you go? Unfortunately we don’t have the option of getting there in the morning. Just wondering if the chairlift is even worth the lines if I can’t get there early
