Question Question: what should i play after Trails of Cold Steel 4?
I heard Reverie is not that good that's why i would like to skip it, so what comes after it in the series?

do you listen to everyone on the internet when they say a game is bad?
people call cold steel 4 the worst in the series but that probably didn’t stop you from playing

I wouldn't skip Reverie. Make sure you've played Zero and Azure first though.

Don't know where you heard that but Reverie is quite well-loved by the fanbase and is likely among the least-divisive entries of the series

Imagine choosing to skip this game. And then never knowing thatC can always pick out the real Lapis out of a pile of Lapises

I heard Reverie is not that good
How many people have you heard that from? Sure it has its flaws, but it's not worse than the other Cold Steel games and it's far from being the weakest Trails game.
Anyway the next game after Reverie is Trails through Daybreak. But FYI Reverie story is important for lore and sets the foundation for the next arc so I do not recommend skipping it if you're invested in the story.

Reverie is solid and it's the capstone of every game up to that point. I could see stopping at almost any point before, but it seems crazy you'd play all the way through the series to the end of Cold Steel 4 but then not play the ending. It's like watching all 21 movies in the MCU but deciding to skip Avengers: Endgame because you heard one or two people say they didn't like it.
Reverie is also not just an ending, but sort of a prologue to the next arc in the series and if you intend on ever playing another entry going forward, you'd want to know that stuff.

Don't skip Reverie
It's a beaultiful full game sized epilog to the Crossbell and Cold Steel arcs. (Plus, you meet some new character there, that you'll regret not meeting if you skip ahead.)
It's the best Trails game ever? No, it isn't, but it doesn't have to be. It's a good Trails game? Yes, absolutely.
The only reason I can think of, that would me say you shouldn't play it (yet), is if you didn't play the Crossbell arc. In that case, go back to Zero and Azure, they're fenomenal! If not, go Reverie, it's a good time.

cs4 is probably the worst game in the series. reverie is imo probably one of the best lol.

Its a step up from CS4 but that doesn't mean its good. You should play it because it will make Daybreak look amazing in comparison.

Reverie had an overall much better and less divisive reception than Cold Steel IV and honestly i have no idea how you got that idea.

Reverie is better than ToCS4 and sets up a key reveal that contextualises the Calvard arc.

Unfortunately you can’t skip Reverie since the next arc will use a lot of the setup from that game. Especially in the second game of the arc where characters that were introduced in Reverie make a return. On top certain plot points introduced in Reverie play a bigger role in the next arc.
