Censoring on Peacock

I started rewatching the series on Peacock, and realized something strange. They bleep (mute) every instance of the word "f@g". The fact it's almost always spoken by Scott makes it even stranger. Any idea why they do this?

I didn’t even realize it was on there. It’s a derogatory slur. Context be damned, I guess.

It might be new on there. I decided last week I went in to watch it again that's what came up. 

A Buddy Cole sketch where you can't have that word is just ridiculous
