Good kid

Without a doubt. It’s in the bottom 3-4 of play counts, but is a masterpiece, both in lyric and beat. Real is amazing, Sherane is amazing, but good kid is just wildly overlooked.

I love Compton, but it doesn’t feel as much of an inventive track as good kid - more of a throwback boombap banger.

Sherane has the fewest plays, but to me is incredibly important in setting the tone for the album. I always listen to GKMC from the beginning.

The second half of Maad City.

If it has to be an entire song, The Art of Peer Pressure

Finally someone talks about this one, but idk if we should count it because its a apple music exclusive

that’s fair, honestly a top tier kendrick song though but no one talks about it, deserves some recognition 🙏

The second half of M.a.a.d city, my personal favorite and it’s super under looked because of the first half

u/Emergency_Acadia4885 20h ago

I'd have to go with Good Kid BUT, I can see someone making an argument for Real as it often gets overlooked because it comes right after the best song on the album SAMIDOT.

I’m not too familiar with what people consider underrated, but if people don’t have art of peer pressure as number 1 or 2 on the album then I consider them underrating it

Money Trees, it was a b side record that’s just as popular as a lot of the hits on GKMC
