General Do you find your vision fluctuates throughout the day? If so, what seems to trigger these changes?

Some members experience fluctuating vision. Sharing your observations about triggers could be helpful for others.

Yes. Everyone’s does, KC or not. It’s just very noticeable with the KC. Nothing to do about it. Sometimes you’re just having a good/bad eye day

Poor sleep and general fatigue. My sight is always worse if I’ve had a poor night sleep

Sometimes. Usually dryness is the cause. Putting drops in helps most of the time.

Air pressure gets me, when a low pressure front m9ves in my vision gets all tucked up. Some people have bad hair days, I get bad eye days

I often say “I’m having a bad eye day,”

Yep. Just blinking changes how well or poorly I can focus or clear distortion. No noticeable reason, it just happens.

Fatigue and dry air. I notice this constantly, it's been much more noticeable post CXL for me however. Best way to combat it for me is with lubricating eye drops, I take 1 - 3 drops a day, depending on how much strain I'm putting my eyes tru.

What lubricating drops do you recommend?

My doctor suggests Thealoz Duo, I've also tried a few others, but Thealoz seems to work the best for me. It's a bit hard to find, I tend to buy it off amazon (if the source seems reputable. sometimes fakes are sold on amazon) or from the doctors office.

Hydration. The more water I drink the better my eyes work.

Yes, it does. It changes hour to hour, at times. Sometimes lack of sleep, too much screen time. But other times, the changes seem to be random.

I see better with natural light in broad daylight, now indoors or at night is different

Sleeping on my face has an impact. It basically flattens my more conic right eye and pushes it out of my glasses prescription range in the morning. Gradually through the day my eye returns to normal.

Probably fatigue and light

I don’t have KC but even under proper lighting at night. It’s just not as sharp as day time

Exhaustion definitely weakens my vision. I used to work in a field where a few times a year I’d put in 20+ hour days for a few days in a row.

By day 3 my vision was definitely degraded.
