Personal Story That girl is hard as rock

Post image

Plane is preparing to land, so all windows should stay open.

[Not 100% accurate translation]

Girl in front of me sitting next to a window: dad, close the window, this sun is so bright it harms my eyes!!!

Dad: we can't close the window, that woman [flight assistant] said to not close it.

Girl: close the window!!!

Dad: just turn around and don't look at it.

Girl: I don't want to! [*stays looking at sun and screaming, punching her seat and demanding parents to close the window untill the plane landed. When it stopped, parents closed the window and girl started crying because now she can't see the sun]

That's just incredibly foolish tbh, like why cry and scream like some baby when they need their milk over wanting a closed window and then the next moment she be like "WAAAA! WAAAA! I WANT WINDOW OPEN!! WAAAAA!"

My friend who works as a psychologist for kids and their parents told a story: they have a toy shell for smallest kids, and of course at some point one 3yo wanted to take a toy with him. His parents gave him 2 options:

1 - they go and buy the same toy in a store (rejected because he wanted this exact toy)

2 - they take this toy, but then buy a new one for replacement (rejected cuz he didn't want to have an old toy while someone else can have a new one)

Friend tried to explain that the kids in cases like that are confused with old and new, black and white, but meh. I think that parents should keep a diary of everything dumb and fun their kids ever did and then gift this diary on their 18th birthday to make some fun
