Ah I worked on a few of them. I'd open the plastic, take out everything inside, then put the danger part into a big bucket with my dad and then we dropped our giant hammer on it until it imploded.

got shocked once by a CRT when I was ~15. I wanted the flyback transformer to do other stupid shit with. it was only AFTER that when I looked up how to properly ground them. I ended up with a pretty good stock of flybacks and mini arc generators.

I hope whoever allowed them to mess with this discharged it first. I got shocked by this once and I think it wasnt even its full power and I am still scared of working on this shit. xd
