I know …that’s why I said that it’s not any better.
Obviously there are plenty of drugs that are more damaging than marijuana….my point is that since it was legalized, the strength has been jacked up to a point where a lot of the reasons we felt that it was safe to legalize it for consumption by anyone 18 or older have been negated to a certain degree and I think we should revisit the age limits on it - and I think we should revisit the age for drinking alcohol as well.
Personally I think both of them should be limited to 25 and older and I think we’ve got a hidden benzo crisis that nobody wants to talk about because it would encroach on the wrong class…..we have “important” people who use (abuse) benzos and we can’t be taking away their drug of choice….even though the wd can actually kill the user and its been implicated in nearly 20% of all deaths attributed to opioids.
