Hard call. If you do this there’s a good chance you’re being fired for a reason but if you’ve just been fired after setting that up - and they knew they were going to fire you when they made you set this up - then yeah fuck them honestly.
It really is a tough call because I’ve had employers metaphorically fuck me like this.
I got let go once at the end of my 90 day probation period. Walked in, sat down at my desk, was about to clock in when the boss said not to worry about it and then gave me my letter and asked me to leave.
I asked what was the contributing factor to their conclusion and they said that I was making too many suggestions for ways to make things work a bit better. I just gave them the 'lol wut?' face and went home. Still got paid for the whole day even though getting sent home first thing in the morning.
My guess is attitude. When you're on probation, they usually ask the people who worked with you for feedback, too, maybe it rubbed the wrong way for some people
