I experienced something similar at the worst job I ever worked. Valid crashout.
I walked the entire way there (1 hour 1 way) after a grueling previous shift. Clocked in, started making product, was 20 fucking wraps deep, when those whores fired me over "stealing" because I misrang up an employee meal, called me a liar to my face, and canned me. I literally offered to pay for it (a second time). I had to walk all the way back home after 30 minutes on the clock. Couldn't bother doing that over the phone or nothing, when they fucking scheduled me over the phone, but they wanted to milk me making the wraps before they fired me because I was both the only one who would do them quickly, would be willing to come jn early to make them, would do them well, and would wash the utensils in-between different allergens.
