I got fired at the beginning of my shift. They were going to "let" me work the rest of the day. Nah, fuck that. Manager just didn't want to cook or pay someone else overtime to come in and cover. He was shocked when I laughed at him and declined his offer.

Probably should have said yes and then just left when they weren't looking before you did any work
