I once ate a weinerschnitzel chili cheese dog that was sitting on the oven for about 4 days. Still alive to tell the tale.

It’s a perfectly sane food to eat!

Now taking your wienerschnitzel-licking finger and point out on this map what I want to know!

You can't expect me to divulge information that would put German lives in danger.

Goddamn. I eat some sketchy food, but a four day old unrefrigerated chili cheese dog would be where I draw the line.

Unlike 99% percent of this thread, my line is at a one day old unrefridgerated chili cheese dog.

So i worked construction in my early 20s had a small iglloo cooler with one of those freezer brick things . About 95 degree friday i go to the store i get a loaf of bread a tomatoe lb of salami and a lb of colby . Have a couple sandwiches . Fast forward to monday . Still 95 .overslept rushed out of the house no wallet no money no lunch . Look over and my coolers in the passeneger floor . I open it doesnt stink but the salamis a bit slimy . So i wipe it down and slam like 3 sandwiches . Get out of work drink a beer its like 4 hours later . Within 10 minutes im puking and im so confused completely forgot about the salami i ate . Until i puked again and it was all i could taste . I spent the next week projectile vomiting and shitting water. I was sure i was gonna die . I was weak for like 2 weeks . I still cant eat salami to this day . But i have an iron gut thats the only thing thats ever got me. I ate pizza i left in the oven overnight lots of times

Cooking in the hot cooler in a hot car all weekend is a far cry from overnight. The temperature must have fluctuated back and forth from 70F to 125F nights and days. Yikes.

As a food scientist and ex food safety manager I am disappointed I never used this phrase.
