Keep telling myself to "channel the lizard" in me to deal with the heat.

You've got it all wrong -- when FoH comes back and goes "damn it's hot back here" you have to gaslight them. It's not hot at all back here. We're having a great time and it's not very helpful to let us know that you THINK it's hot as fuck. You should really learn some knife skills, making money is awful -- come join us back here

Because some of them really like telling themselves their job is as physically demanding as ours. It plain isn't, but they have the difficult work of customers that we don't so it isn't like they have it super easy either.

I realized FOH wasn't for me when a customer requested me to smell their turkey sandwich(free meal baiting) and I told them their check was free today and cleared their dishes. I'll just sweat 😅. Denny's fault for not having a manager on shift.

They are both are hard jobs but one is definitely more difficult than the other and pays less
