Looking for queer women’s groups in the Triangle area
Hey there, new to Reddit, somewhat new to the triangle area, (31F, living in Raleigh but open to hoping in the car around the area!), and looking for queer women’s spaces in pretty much any form—activity groups, book clubs, support spaces for navigating identity, etc. Looking for friends and a supportive space to get involved in and would appreciate any help y’all might have!

I'd definitely recommend Arcana. It's a lesbian bar in Durham. They host events, craft nights, etc. Even doing a queer dnd/ttrpg night next Tuesday. :)

If you're musically inclined, check out triangle pride band and its member ensembles. Not strictly queer women but very affirming.

Not women only but Durham Queer sports, Stonewall sports in Raleigh and a women’s rugby team (can’t remember the name). Also follow forthegirlsofraleigh on Instagram. They’re having a mixer next Friday I’m probably going to attend.

Ooo thank you so much for the heads up! Could I bother you for the mixer info?

Eck sorry, I don’t check Reddit that often. On IG follow these groups, they’re always having events: Sapphictrails and ForTheGirlsOfRaleigh

Not strictly just a women’s space, but the LGBT Center of Raleigh has some groups. Highly recommend the queer book club!!
