Hey guys, I am a soccer fan from America who is trying to learn Spanish. Because of being in America it’s hard for me to watch all the games I want to see so I normally resort to extended highlights. However my latest Spanish-learning scheme involves watching this years la liga season en español. I am wondering if anyone knows any YouTube channels which post extended highlights for most/all of the games with Spanish commentary. I am especially interested in Barcelona highlights because I like watching lamine yamal, but the more games the merrier. Thanks for any help!

What do you think about last Atletico match? They lost with Espanyol, team who was on 14 place in last LaLiga sezon (Atletico was 3). What do you think about Diego Simeone? He coaching Atletico since 2011 and he won 8 trophies. Should Atletico continue to train, or should the Madrid club look for another coach after a few unexpected setbacks? In last season they lost with Las Palmas, Ossasuna or Leganes. What do you think about this?

Hey guys, I’m super sorry if this has already been answered before, I just can’t find anything! Me and a couple friends are visiting Valencia / Madrid from London between 26th-30th September, and we’re trying to plan our days carefully.
The current fixture list has two games we could go to: Valencia vs Oviedo, or Athletico Madrid vs Real Madrid. However, when looking at the fixtures, it seems they’re all on the same day? Is this right?
Any help is appreciated!!

I always observed that there are so many red cards last season and this season is just the same. Is it that the referees and more strict in Laliga compared to other leagues.

Hey Friends,
I’m heading to Barcelona for the first time this year and I’m so excited to be in your amazing country. Unfortunately, it seems like the entire league is off for the week? When I check the website it just lists some lower tier games pretty far from Barcelona and Madrid. Any idea if this will change or am I out of luck?

Saw this stat today and it’s honestly embarrassing for LaLiga.
Net spend 2025/26 so far:
LaLiga used to be the place where top players wanted to go. Now their spending power is worse than the Bundesliga and nowhere near the Premier League. Even Serie A, which has been struggling financially for years, is almost at their level and they are only on €2m net spend.
This isn’t just about clubs being careful with money. It’s about poor league management. Years of Javier Tebas focusing on strict spending caps and TV rights centralization without actually growing the league’s global appeal have turned LaLiga into a selling league.
Players are leaving, global interest is dropping and the gap to the Premier League is now massive. You can’t compete in European competitions if you sell your stars and replace them with cheap or free signings.
LaLiga clubs are now fighting for scraps in the transfer market while the Premier League takes all the best talent. At this rate the league will be irrelevant outside of Real Madrid and maybe Barcelona, and even Barca can’t spend without selling first.
What’s the point of having “financial health” if the league becomes unwatchable?

Julian Alvarez is the best all round striker in la liga , he has decent pace , amazing poacher , and can score out of no where , can dribble , can assist , can build up play etc

I want to say Osasuna, their academy has to be so credited so heavily for what the team is, it's such a core part of the team, an invaluable represenation of what Osasuna is, so many amazing players have come from the Tajonar, such as Oihan Sancet, who I hope there will be no debate in saying is world class? They have their own player right now Aimar Oroz who is a baller, technically Nico Williams did play at the Tajonar before Athletic Club so you can even credit his formation as a footballer to Osasuna. It truly is a wonderful academy, with the cream of the crop having to have been Cesar Azpilecueta, so what do you think is the best academy?

I have been trying to find a way to watch LaLigaTV in my country but I could not find a way since bein sports stopped showing it in 2022, I looked everywhere to try to buy it but could not find any legit way to get it, so ofcourse you know what I have to do to see la liga. Why doesn't LaLigaTV offer a streaming service for countries that are not covered by any providers who have contracted la liga. Wouldn't Tebas love this.

To all German-speaking La Liga 2 viewers, how are you watching the games this year? You can watch the games on Bet365, but I would like to have a platform where you can also watch games in full length. Are you doing this with a VPN or do you have a platform?

Huge shame what’s happened to Valencia and to an extent Malaga. Atletico Madrid have replaced Valencia as the third biggest club in Spain and have absolutely done everything correctly that Valencia was doing in the 00’s.
Except that last objective is where Valencia stumbled due to the economic crisis of the late 00’s.
In an alternate reality Valencia is currently at the level of current Atletico (just slightly below Barca and Madrid) and competing for the league.
And Malaga, in an alternate reality are the true financial competitors to Barca and Madrid had they stayed the course and their owner not pull the plug on investing after their fines.
Imagine a LaLiga with a Big 5 and the likes of Villarreal, Sevilla, Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao providing solid competition week in and week out.
This league is truly a graveyard of what ifs and very unfortunate situations.
Does anyone know if Valencia will ever recover their glory days? I know the Nou Mestalla will begin its construction soon and the projected 70,000 capacity will help alleviate a lot of the financial limitations currently but will it be enough? Have Valencia fallen too far?
