Since our true fans are "surrounded" by thugs threatening them, make a video or photo please of that behaviour if you can. They can not touch you, but not only can they touch our true fans, they can continue harassing them in Serbia. Here is people Vs "Caci" or SNS FANATICS. (SNS is our criminal regime party). Hi! I have read that beavers are surprisingly common in Latvia, compared to Finland. I am planning my trip to Riga in 2026 and I was wondering if you have any tips for seeing beavers. I have been thinking about travelling in June, but I assume that time of the year doesn't matter too much. Perhaps they might be a bit shy on summer season when people are everywhere?

Anyways. If you have any ideas where I could have decent chance of seeing beavers within relatively short train or bus ride from Riga, I would love your tips. I'd try not to disturb them. Would be just lovely to see one for real. Big fan.

What is their opinion on india and their people

What other language are they fluent in?

Which country do they hate the most ? (When I google it was russia but I thought maybe they are neighbours then that i fo would be wrong I guess ? Correct me maybe :)

An underrated fact about them ?

Ethnicity of people ? By that I mean like what are the percentage of people there like are there major whites in that country and if then like how much ? Like on a comparative basis majority? Like 90 above or semi majority like 60-70-80??

What are some places which are like the hot spot areas?

What are something that countries produce like major exporting product??

Is there anytype of folklore there ?

What are some things which is required for someone to know if they have to travel there?

Are they racist ? Sorry if it offended u :) but like on Google when I researched it I found that it was majority white country which I also asked u btw , and it said there have been many cases where other people skin have been discriminated

I googled the average height and it showed 5'11 for men and 5'7 for women ? Is that true like in india even though the avg height is 5'6 the majority of em are above 5'8

Hey Latvian friends, cheers from Serbia. You might be thinking this post is about Serbian team and basketball, but it is not. If you heard about any Serbian flags being stolen by other fans, the reason is much more sinister than you might think. Tl;dr: Serbian government sent to Riga about 100 thugs to intercept any Serbian fans carrying flags and banners with anti-government writings.

Long story: This is about what is happening in Serbia, and by extension now in Latvia as one of the hosts of EuroBasket. The country is turning into an autocratic state led by Vucic, which is supported by f*cking Russia of course. Protestors are being beeten brutally, arrested and imprisoned for no good reasons and fired from their jobs. Companies not supporting the government are getting vandalized, getting inspections daily and receiving high monetary penalties for anything, even made up charges. There are only two national TV stations which are not government controled and they are being attacked daily.

The Serbian autocrat is trying his hardest to hide this from the world by imposing a media curtain where ever possible. Can you imagine that even the matches of the tennis GOAT Novak Djokovic are no longer televised here because he supports the protestors? Well, to get to the point: the government has sent about 100 thugs to Latvia to intercept any Serbian people with flags and banners containing any wording with protest related slogans. Flags are being forcefully taken and people threatend with beatings and even murder by some accounts.

Is there anything I/we can do, or the Latvian community, to suppres this at least in your country? We feel like your country has survived the horrors of the Russian boot and would understand our strugle.

Ir pienācis laiks izvēlēties bērnam sākumskolu bet informācijas ir ļoti maz. Visi skolu reitingi ir vidusskolām, atsauksmes arī grūti atrast. Varbūt kāds gāja šim cauri un var padalīties ar pieredzi? Dzirdēju arī, ka ir skolas kur pat dzīvojot "pareizajā" rajonā nav iespējams tikt. Vai tā ir taisnība?

Kādus kursus, apmācības, ieteikumus varat ieteikt?

Dabūju darbu ēdināšanā, bet praktiski uzreiz arī piedāvāja IT nozares darbu. Aizgāju uz to interviju un tagad mani uzlūdza uz otro tikšanos, kur viņi teica, ka man pastāstīs par darba pienākumiem (cik saprotu arī par to kad varu sākt). Tā kā vakance nebija publicēta un viņi mani izvēlējās, jo biju pieteicies citai vakancei un bija nepieciešamā izglītība nepublicētajai, kas nozīmē, kā konkurentu man nav. Vai man uzreiz pateikt tagadējam darba devējam par situāciju vai pagaidīt līdz līgums rokā?

I'm visiting Riga next week, I don't want to repeat the usual what to do/where to eat travel advice questions, I've found relatively recent ones in the sub, but I want to turn this around - what are the things you as locals would recommend to avoid? This could be anything, like overpriced/hyped, no worth the time/money restaurants, sights, programs, anything would be highly appreciated. I've had times when I visited something which was freqently recommended in travel guides in other places, and in reality it was just a ridiculously overpriced experience. Also, I'm interested in common tourist scams, too. Thanks!
