What are the most effective online resources for learning Afrikaans?

Watch the Praating podcast and see how much you can get from context. Afrikaans people mostly speak Mengels, or Mixlish as I've called it in other countries. We use a lot of English words in our dialect. I would highly recommend just finding Afrikaans videos and media (even for kids), maybe take a look at grade 5 Afrikaans assignments for schools to get an idea of what to learn. There's even Afrikaans SpongeBob and other nickelodeon shows out there!
