Recommend me couples that have so much chemistry it makes your stomach do THE THING, pls I’m in a slump

I just finished The lay of you duology by Corrie Mackay and omg if you haven’t put this book in your TBR yet, WHAT ARE U DOING. This book raised my standards so much it’s insane. The chemistry between Dosie and Jennifer is THE most intense I’ve ever read, the storytelling is unreal, the sex even more so and their unconditional love for each other makes me soooo giddy.😩They are my favorite sapphic couple rn. I would love recs on couples that broke your chemistry scale please!!

Corrie Mackay’s books are also just soooo well written the perfect balance between dialogue and narrative. She just sucks you in from the start and makes you obsessed with the characters. I am in deep post Dosifer depression pls help me get out of it😭

Priya and Malini from the Burning Kingdom trilogy have me in a chokehold. Their chemistry is just insane imo. Both of them are obsessed with each other. The first time Priya sees Malini, Malini is drugged out of her mind and hasn’t bathed in god knows when, but Priya is all “heart eyes motherfucker” Meanwhile Malini is so thirsty after watching Priya fight that she can’t remember Priya’s face, only her biceps.

agree 100%. they’ve ruined me on other sapphic couples. like they’re extremely complex characters that exist wholly outside of their relationship with one another, which just makes it 50x hotter when they are together or yearning for one another. like seeing these 2 incredibly powerful, intelligent, morally dubious women go absolutely feral for one another when they get a bit of privacy?? i can’t.

Honestly those books kinda ruined a lot of us. While I haven't felt anything has come so close regarding the chemistry and spice, maybe try: Only Hope by Ruby Landers, Guava Flavored Lies and/or Losing Control by JJ Arias, Meeting Millie by Clare Ashton. The chemistry in Bloomtown is great too, the first book esp.

The Snowball Effect by Haley Cass (the spicy scene is explosive because of their chemistry).

The SoHo Loft series by Melissa Brayden is good for this.

The Heart Wants by Krystina Rivers is a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, chance book, their chemistry (and fate) keeps bringing them back together.

For something seasonal and witchy, Pumpkin Spice and Poltergeist is good. The second book, Curses and Cold Brew just came out, I am about halfway through and the chemistry is there for this couple as well.

“those who wait” by haley cass!! if you want a read that is more of an emotional ride but the two women are so in love it hurts is “her name in the sky” by kelly quindlen

Her Name in the Sky by Kelly Quindlen hurts so good, like in a take-my-heart-out-for-a-minute-please-I-can't-handle-this-pain kind of way.

When I read the title I was about to comment with The Lay of You.... Damn :D

I think for me, the books that come closest are The Snowball Effect by Haley Cass as well as On the Same Page by the same author. If you don't mind less spice, Hearing Red by Nicole Maser also gave me a very similar feeling. And then there is also Auroras Angel by Emily Noon.

Not sure if you’re into menage romance OP but The Three by Meghan O’Brien was one of the first romances I ever read and it really stayed with me. It’s one of my favorites. It’s post apocalyptic so there is trauma, action, the main characters are protective of each other and some really hot spice.
