Gaza is being starved

The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.

For over 20 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.

Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.

This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.

What you can do right now:

Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.

Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.

Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.

This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control by the Israeli regime. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.

Donate

Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.

UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

Upvotes

Discussion Non Libyan Here With a Food For Thought Question...

Upvotes

I'm American and follow this subreddit to learn and see what Libya/Libyan Culture is like. So far the culture and the Libyans I've met are delightful. Yesterday, I noticed someone in the subreddit mention something along the lines of "This subreddit isn't quite what it used to be. It seems to be the some recycled questions" and I happened to think of something to ask to make people stop and think (hopefully) to some degree.

Libyans, what about Libyan culture and/or your city/community do you like the most. Like, something that just really makes your day and makes you smile.

Discussion sub feels like its dying out:/

guys, this sub feels like it’s dying out :( it used to be a place where people shared their lives, asked for ideas, and sparked real discussions but rn, atm, it feels more like a never ending questionnaire, just the same repetitive questions over and over, ones that have already been asked a hundred times and on top of that, it’s all politics now and feels more like a news channel than a community. what happened here?

back then, it actually felt like a community. you’d get to know people because they shared about themselves and their thoughts, and sometimes you’d end up liking em' enough to want to know them more. people were more outgoing, you could make friends n like bully n roast each other a little and it was still loads of fun

Discussion History was made on August 29–30 - Libya All-Girls Robotics Tournament

History was made on August 29–30!

The LYBOTICS Taj Team organized Libya’s first-ever off-season robotics tournament dedicated to all-girls robotics teams. This event wasn’t only about robots – it was about breaking barriers, creating safe spaces, and inspiring girls across Libya to lead in science and innovation.

We are incredibly proud of the girls who competed, their mentors who guided them, and the student organizers who proved that youth can lead change.

At LYBOTICS community, we believe robotics is more than just technology – it’s a platform for inclusion, empowerment, and community transformation.

If you believe in this vision, we invite you to support us:
– Share this story with your networks 📢
– Cheer for the girls in the comments 👏
– Consider supporting LYBOTICS on Patreon to help us expand safe and empowering STEM opportunities across Libya ❤️ ( https://www.patreon.com/Lybotics )

Together, we can keep building spaces where every young person has the chance to shine.

Marriage 💍 Deciding when to marry while studying abroad

Hey everyone. I'm a 26 year old electrical and electronics engineer. Inshallah this year I will begin a masters in Italy via a scholarship. Inshallah It will take me two years to graduate, therefore I will be 28 by that time. I am thinking of staying in Europe and either find an internship then a job or go for a PhD (also via a scholarship) which by then I will most likely be around 32 years old after finishing it. I am financially "okay" but not good enough for me to live with a partner during my studies (which is why I went for a scholarship), so when do you guys think that I will be able to get married as soon as possible? Would you advice me to go for it right after my masters and live with her during my PhD years abroad? Should I return to Libya and find a wife there or should I find a Libyan living abroad?

Discussion So, how was your day !

Let me start by mine, today was like shit Lol. Let me skip the morning time where I had to intreact with negative people that drained the hell out of me, and jump to where I drove for almost 3 hours in a row attempting to catch a meeting and then guess what happend!! at the last time my car ran out of fuel so obviously I couldn't make it to that meeting, what made it even worse is that before I made this trip, I noticed my tank was low but I said to myself that I would fill it on the first station, it never occur to me that I won't find gasoline in litterly all the gas stations along the road for nearly 300 Km across 3 cities and many towns, can you imagine. Now I am stuck away from home and even had to break my diet and eat some cheap faty Kabab with Khubz for lunch and now I'm forced to sleep alone in my car for the night. EVERYTHING IS MISSED UP. Ough feel a little relief after sharing it

Wish me luck tomorrow to find gasoline😂
