What does Ja Rule think?

109

u/Disastrous_Ad626 1d ago

Can someone please.... Find Ja Rule, get a hold of this mother fucker so he can make sense of this.

11

u/ScrubLord1008 1d ago

I was at a show last night and saw an ad that Ja Rule is currently on tour with Nelly, St. Lunatics, and Chingy

7

u/SlightDingoProblem91 1d ago

Ja Rule is currently on tour with Nelly, St. Lunatics, and Chingy

What in the world year is this? LOL I had to look it up, you're not lying that's crazy.

3

u/1nitiated 1d ago

Oh shit I also thought it was a pretty funny joke

11

u/bigpapirick 1d ago

Where’s Ja!!?!?!?!?

56

u/Lontology 1d ago

God dammit. Just once I want to be the first person to ask that. Lol

5

u/Matos58 1d ago

I don't wanna dance! I'm scared to death!

3

u/Sky19234 1d ago

Pssh, Ja Rule...what does Benzino think?

3

u/lord_pizzabird 1d ago

"it wasn't murder. It was false advertising."

On 9/11 of all days.

Whats this from? Chris rock or chappelle right? Which set?

I wish we had 20 year old Dave right now.

u/godfrey1 1d ago

how the fuck is his son still not locked up? how fucking dumb are the police in US?

96

u/Inside_Individual871 1d ago

His daddy is rich, that's why.

44

u/godfrey1 1d ago

he's not that rich, fighters in UFC are fucked in the ass by Dana White and were fucked even more in earlier days

45

u/DulciePhotogen 1d ago

He made 30 million in his ufc career guess he's poor 😄 🤣

5

u/tehcraz 1d ago

He also fought in other promotions post UFC as well.

4

u/Dongsquad420BlazeIt 1d ago

He was one of the biggest fighters on the planet competing in Pride before the UFC took off. He was the first person to unify their titles.

7

u/skam_artist 1d ago

In the early days they weren't beholden to reebok and could take independent ad deals and corporate sponsorships. The money ceiling was way higher back then.

2

u/drippinswagu69 1d ago

Nah rampage was big before UFC u trippin lol

4

u/fallingjigsaws 1d ago

Wouldn’t be surprised if they made more in Pride around that time. That shit was electric

1

u/drippinswagu69 1d ago

also incredibly popular in japan in general. I remember my uncle coming home with a fat stack of pride and boxing bootlegs to watch during the summers in mexico lol

1

u/Makewaker 1d ago

I wouldn’t even be surprised if they threw a bunch of money at him to get fat in Bellator. They were poaching UFC vets like crazy back then.

2

u/fallingjigsaws 1d ago

Oh yeah that too

1

u/Ghost6x 1d ago

He literally headlined some of the biggest PPV events of the era with a grandfathered contract that gave him a large portion of PPV buys

There was a time where he was making over 4 million a PPV, most notable 7 million for his main event vs Chuck

Dana doesn't pay his fighters but the fact that he was forced to oblige by Rampage's bought in contract when UFC absorbed his promotion is what caused a feud between them

→ More replies (1)

6

u/mazini95 1d ago

I'd have thought his american vet status would've outweighed the reputation and money of a retired MMA fighter. Especially in this political climate. But I guess there's not enough pressure...? Where are all the patriots now?

2

u/zeni19 1d ago

Not rich just famous

-4

u/Hyarcqua 1d ago

More like because California is the promised land for felons.

8

u/Overall_Lobster_4738 1d ago

The thing you constantly hear from people who aren't from California

12

u/EntrepreneurFunny469 1d ago

The FBI have claimed twice inaccurately to have captured the shooter. How dumb do you think the police are?

6

u/Longjumping_Ebb_3635 1d ago

I am Australian, I find it odd how he isn't being arrested. But yanks on Reddit tell me that in the USA even if you commit a violent crime the police can't arrest you and have to take months to build a case against you etc, personally that sounds like more Reddit BSers to me, I think they just don't want to arrest him for some reason, not that they physically can't arrest him.

1

u/grumpy_tech_user 7h ago

If the dude doesn't press charges thats how

0

u/ScuffedA7IVphotog 1d ago

Its in California, they don't do arrests

292

u/i_am_a_lurker69 1d ago

Finally, the reaction I have been waiting for.

89

u/Weak_Bunch7880 1d ago

Rampage hired the etsy witches to get people to stop talking about his kid.

6

u/Disastrous_Ad626 1d ago

Guess it worked...

634

u/Remote_Brewer 1d ago

Bros son just tried beat someone to death and he talking about "Over opinions?!?"

75

u/spudlybudly 1d ago

His son needs to be locked up too. Violent and impulsive and came close to being a murderer himself.

-2

u/Novel_Cartoonist1692 1d ago

He has said himself that his son should face the repercussions of what he did. Rampage has never condoned or said his son shouldnt have any consequences.

126

u/Souporsam12 1d ago

I would really love to hear from these people which “opinions” they’re referencing.

53

u/Animegamingnerd 1d ago

Its almost definitely their opinions on LGBT people lmao.

6

u/Financial_Fly5708 1d ago

Which is hilarious considering Kirk was talking about trans school shooters when... he was shot on a school campus

95

Why are so many people assuming the shooters motive when we don't even know who the shooter is?

“He gleefully helped foment hatred, bigotry, fascism, and violence on a national scale.” Lmfao, you couldn’t even name a single one of his talking points if you truly believe this. Which you don’t. You just regurgitate the same bullshit that the mindless drones on the left do.

5

u/Eques9090 1d ago

You just regurgitate the same bullshit that the mindless drones on the left do.

Are you a bot? This shit doesn't even make sense. What do you mean the same shit "that the drones on the left do." I AM on the left, happily.

Lmfao, you couldn’t even name a single one of his talking points if you truly believe this. Which you don’t.

I've been politically active for over a decade, what in the world makes you think I'm not intimately aware of all the disgusting shit Charlie Kirk and people like him spread, or don't believe what I said?

He had opinions *that you disagree with.

10

u/GoyEater 1d ago

Dude he wanted America to be a Christian nation and believed the civil rights act was a mistake. He would go to campuses and tell women they should be focusing on having kids instead of going to school.

When your “opinion” is racist, misogynistic, or forces Christianity on non-Christian’s, people are going to inevitably hate you.

-1

u/ActionPhilip 1d ago

Please identify his opinions that are outright racist, misogynistic, and especially those that force Christianity on people.

You do just get to use the cudgel of a bunch of labels to shut down a discussion, sorry.

-5

u/HighOnFireZA 1d ago

Characterize it as you want. Truth is that this sets a dangerous precedent for political discourse in the country. Don't forget that there are a lot of divisive commentators on the left as well. There will be lunatics that use this assassination as motivation for retaliatory actions.

4

u/McHoagie86 1d ago

1

u/HighOnFireZA 1d ago

Republicans are just as bad. I'll call it out whenever I see it.

1

u/McHoagie86 1d ago

I appreciate that. Genuinely

1

u/snowil Cheeto 10h ago

I know it's not exactly on the topic you are bringing up, but it shows the difference in violence on both sides of the political spectrum in US

https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/what-nij-research-tells-us-about-domestic-terrorism Since 1990, far-right extremists have carried out 227 ideologically motivated homicides, resulting in more than 520 deaths. In contrast, far-left extremists were responsible for 42 such attacks, with 78 deaths.

6

u/Eques9090 1d ago

Truth is that this sets a dangerous precedent for political discourse in the country.

No, what set a dangerous precedent is electing a fascist president who has happily encouraged political violence since basically the day he started campaigning for office. What set a precedent was not punishing that fascist president when he tried to violently overthrow the government after being legitimately beaten in an election. What set a dangerous precedent was assassinating democratic politicians in their home.

Violent political precedent has been set in the united states for years. It was never set by democrats. It was set by people like Charlie Kirk.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/Catman933 1d ago

Stop.

The country is already there. Precedence has already been set. A democrat legislator was killed in her home in July.

Stop acting like we are nearing the tipping point. The US is already long past that.

Wow a few radical leftist commentators might spin this unproductively? What about the MAGA & Trump who are consistently supporting the violence and destroying democracy week by week?

1

u/HighOnFireZA 1d ago

You're right. The whole political landscape is cooked in the US. I guess I'm just a bit taken aback by people celebrating a murder like this was a good thing. This is just one step closer to chaos. Seems like things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.

2

u/Catman933 1d ago

Celebrating murder is disgusting, I'm with you. Much too common.

Be careful being stuck in the "things are about to get bad" though. 5-10 years ago, you would not believe any of this shit.

Now we're slipping down that slide faster than we can realize.

-1

u/BrightonBummer 1d ago

hatred, bigotry, fascism, and violence on a national scale.

OH NOT BIGOTRY. HATRED AND FACISM

Only redditors and terminally online people go on about bigotry the way you do. For example, he didnt agree with a lot of trans stuff but he fine with them living their daily life if they are 18+

There's hatred on both sides now, politics has always been filled with it but his videos didnt seem that hateful. Just talking.

It's not facism, he was always talking about how he wants people to vote in democratic elections, in other words, not a facist.

You guys always seem to equate words to violence when they arent. People are allowed to discuss whatever they want, including trans rights etc, just because it offends you, doesnt make your buzzwords true.

Hilarious bringing up violence when you were probably is support of blm riots a few years back.

So are you saying some people deserve to be murdered for their opinions?

-8

u/slyfly5 1d ago

Honestly I’m still yet to hear what his crazy opinions are seem like pretty normal conservative opinions. I guess those are horrible evil opinions according to people on Reddit but in reality pretty normal

10

u/Madgoblinn 1d ago

top unhinged ones would probably be that children should watch public executions, his daughter if raped will carry the baby and that deaths to gun violence are an acceptable toll.

7

u/DrVonDoom 1d ago

Stoning gay people, making his daughter carry her rapists baby, telling his viewers they should bail out the attempted murderer of a US congresswoman and her husband are a handful off the top.

5

u/ArmoredGear 1d ago

I mean the common bigoted ones. Or the ones where he was ok with deaths for gun rights and being pro genocide?

4

u/A_Seiv_For_Kale 1d ago

Kirk promoted a book written by his cohost called "Unhumans", which argues for the mass murder of liberals and that democracy doesn't work.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you though that he mostly had bog standard conservative opinions, given that the book was also endorsed by the current sitting Vice President.

1

u/pastafeline 1d ago

Charlie Kirk wanted to repeal the civil rights act. Is that normal?

-9

u/[deleted] 1d ago

[deleted]

18

u/DrVonDoom 1d ago

Kirk was a propagandist who stoked hate and spread misinformation. I am not saying he deserved to die, but it's outright wrong to say what he was doing wasn't categorically different from 'just having an opinion like your or me'.

-2

u/[deleted] 1d ago

[deleted]

14

u/A_Seiv_For_Kale 1d ago

I don't have to use my imagination to remember the last 10+ years of political violence justified, joked about, and swept under the rug by people on the right.

Now it's time for them to "view it from someone in the opposite side of the spectrum".

→ More replies (8)

9

u/DrVonDoom 1d ago

I lost IQ points just reading this.

There is a difference between someone advocating for improving the lives of others, and a difference of opinion on that, and someone saying we should stone gays.

Yes. They are both 'expressing opinions'. One is evil, the other is not. If you need your hand held to parse this apart I don't know what to tell you.

u/[deleted] 1d ago

4

u/Soup_to_Butts 1d ago

Do you think Kirk was purposefully attempting to ruin lives, do you think Kirk's followers thought he was ruining lives?

Not only do these people KNOW they're ruining lives, they're practically gleeful about it. Kirk cheered on mass deportations/incarcerations without due process, called bailing out Paul Pelosi's bludgeoner a patriotic act, and (hilariously) stated that shooting deaths were a necessary sacrifice to protect 2A rights.

The right views abortions as killing babies, is that not evil?

What is this line of argumentation supposed to prove exactly? The right-wing is constantly downplaying/encouraging/excusing violence against liberals on the grounds that they are "evil". Liberals will leap at the opportunity to disavow political violence, MAGA never does

5

u/pastafeline 1d ago

Do you think Kirk was purposefully attempting to ruin lives

Yes

do you think Kirk's followers thought he was ruining lives

Yes

is killing babies also evil

Fetuses aren't babies.

Has he ever called for the stoning of gays

Yes. From Wikipedia: "In 2024, while criticizing YouTuber Ms. Rachel for quoting Leviticus 19:18 ("Love your neighbor as yourself"), Kirk responded by citing Leviticus 20:13 ("If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them"), as "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters."

2

u/FattestNDaWrld 1d ago

You don't have to make up some hypothetical, Mike Lee was making jokes about Minnesota rep Melissa Hortman getting assassinated on Twitter within a day. The right did not care.

When Paul Pelosi was attacked in his home with a hammer, Charlie Kirk got on Twitter and asked "some hero" to go bail the attacker out.

I guess political violence is only a problem when it's a podcaster you like huh?

1

u/FattestNDaWrld 1d ago

I wonder why u/pissshiverss didn't wanna acknowledge this before deleting their comments🙄 I guess political violence is only a problem when it's your favorite podcaster getting hurt

1

u/PissShiverss 1d ago edited 1d ago

It wasn’t worth the Reddit cares blowing my shit up because people can’t talk lol.

I hate Charlie Kirk but I did watch all of his debate videos I think it’s important to learn about the other sides opinions instead of demonizing them. I am center left, but continue locking people into corners when they disagree with the mass opinion on someone lol

Fake boom threats?

29

u/butterfingahs 1d ago

People sure love to talk about how he was shot for his opinions, but not that he was shot as a victim of the normalized gun violence culture he helped perpetuate.

12

u/RockstepGuy 1d ago

Tbh i only see here an unfortunate accident, Charlie Kirk believed such deaths like this were expected, so the rest of the Americans would keep their god given rights, sacrifices for the greater good.

Unless he wasn't expected to be one of those unfortunate accidents, wich would make him a horrible hypocrite, i'm sure he's actually in peace with such an ending to his life.

1

u/butterfingahs 1d ago

I think it's very obviously bad and shouldn't have happened. It's just impossible not to think about how the victim is someone who planted his feet pretty firmly in general opposition of gun control, said things ranging from divisive to straight up inflammatory about gun violence and its victims, while scapegoating the mental health problem the country very much has, onto specific groups of people. You do all that, you very much make the status quo where shootings are just a normal thing that happens.

1

u/Financial_Fly5708 1d ago

"I think empathy is a made -up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage.", if only i could remember who said this... I might have another quote about shooting deaths too but I can't be fucked right now

We're all talking about this cuz it was streamed, what about the recent senator attacks and whatnot on the other side though?

The right just fell into their martyr

-1

u/Snowsnatch 1d ago

So let’s get this straight. You think Charlie Kirk “believed” deaths like his were expected and acceptable? That’s complete bullshit. He spent his entire career fighting for free speech, stronger borders, and protecting American values, not advocating for people to be murdered.

You’re twisting his words to justify violence, and that makes you the hypocrite. He never said political opponents should be killed. What he did say was that freedom comes with risk, but that is not the same as saying his own murder is “for the greater good.”

Stop pretending like you know what he would “be at peace with.” He didn’t die to make you feel righteous. He was silenced by violence, and the fact that you’re celebrating it only proves how deranged and dangerous your side has become.

3

u/RockstepGuy 1d ago edited 1d ago

Well, he did say some deaths every year were expected for the greater good, these are not my words, these are his.

He expected some mass shootings and gun violence and "accepted" them as part of nature, since they are worth it enough so the whole population can keep their guns and protect their other rights, that was his belief.

As such, he himself had to be alright with this, he became an unfortunate accident, like the ones he preached about, an expected collateral casualty, he didn't want to die of course because no one does, but destiny chose him, and he became an unfortunate accident for the greater good so Americans can keep their guns and protect their other god given rights.

..Unless you think he believed others should die for him, but that's fucked up, i mean if you want we can go that way, but it would make him look like a coward, a complete hypocrite, and kind of a loser for not sticking to his own words, like the Shrek meme of "some of you may die but it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make" type thing.

As such i prefer to believe he did in fact went out in peace, accepting that he became just a part of the natural order of things.

3

u/[deleted] 1d ago edited 1d ago

[deleted]

0

u/BagelJuiceSmoothie 1d ago

My only issue is the fact that people are trying to take what they think is some moral high ground by mentioning the "irony" of his statements. Saying he had being assassinated in front of a crowd of people, including his wife and kids during a debate coming for saying mean words, while actively giving justification to somebody who just assassinated a man is some bizzaro world shit. I don't care who you support, killing somebody over words and/or their beliefs is not an incident that should be treated as an "I told ya I was right" or a left vs right thing. Killing somebody over words should not be a political issue.

7

u/SCAMISHAbyNIGHT 1d ago

Do you not see any correlation between violence against minorities and influencers like this dickbag calling trans people abominations and advocating against gay marriage and literally the racist dog whistle that came out of his mouth the second before he died?

People like you keep saying this "died over his opinions" shit as if his opinions didn't cosign tons of violence against tons of people who also have died.

Maybe, just maybe, if people with an audience would stop fucking dehumanizing other people, we would have perhaps a slightly less violent nation. Or, hey, it's just an opinion. Right? And when it's the conservatives who die for their opinions instead of black, trans, gay, etc people who somehow deserved it, we give thoughts and prayers. FOH.

Anyone who supports keeping legal things that kill people make the same calculation. If you don't think cars should be illegal then you dying in a car accident is the same. Drive carefully

1

u/Electric4ce 1d ago

No, this is what everyone on Reddit talks about.

2

u/butterfingahs 1d ago

There's a lot of places online that are not Reddit

1

u/The5acred 23h ago

Truly braindead take. People do not kill other people over their stance on gun ownership. They kill them over hating each other's ideas.

1

u/butterfingahs 18h ago

And why are they so okay to kill them, and how are they able to get their hands on tools to kill them, so easily?

The point is that America has a deeply ingrained cultural problem with this, and when you shut down any talk about its negatives, you make it worse.

I don't mind 2A advocates, I'm annoyed when they don't want to place any kind of emphasis on responsible gun ownership. When it's all fear mongering, it stokes the flame of supporters, and invokes the ire of the opposition. You can't keep throwing lighter fluid on a bonfire then be surprised when you get burned.

1

u/The5acred 17h ago

The problem is his death has nothing to do with gun ownership. It’s entirely due to a man who was so lost into Reddit and discord brainrot he killed a man for stating his beliefs. He did it in a gun free zone by the way. If someone decides to kill a person they will find a way. Like that ukraine girl. I haven’t seen lack of emphasis on responsible gun ownership personally.

First of all, you have no idea what I believe or what race I am.

Second, where in this article did he say something hateful towards “Black people”?

Edit: Yes, don’t respond. You knew there was nothing in this article that was even reported in context, let alone was actually hateful against an entire race. Find happiness.

Once someone gets punched in the head enough times I sorta stop taking their beliefs too seriously. I think most great fighters have a mix of 70% hard right and 30% communist opinions and see no contradiction
