xQc providing a perfect example of how broken peoples brains are in the social media era. Confidently say something factually incorrect then throw a tantrum and continuously double down with how wrong they are.

I saw so much of this on Facebook in 2015 right when I quit the platform. People’s brains are fuckin mush.

Yeah even a lot of normal people can't really think about this clearly. It's just generally liberals and conservatives being held to different standards.

There is a thousand things that Trump has done that if a liberal politician had done them everyone would call for their head, but people somehow accepted Trumpism as a force of nature, something with some purpose or usefulness, something to weather through, accepted him as a strongman leader/abuser where things work by different rules.

You see this with farleftists too that during Bidens term and Kamalas campaign tried to demonize her and bully her into submission, but when it comes to Trump they sort of shut up and don't even try. There just is a vibe of acceptance of populism, resentment, controlled chaos, taking those that were previously "at the top" down.

Kirk getting murdered isn't at all different from all the other attempts on political figures in the last decade, but we somehow accept that since he's on the right we can except Trumps wraths, and given that he's a youtuber it scares media and new media figures more.

Years of "facebook is trying to censor us and our free speech T_T REEE" overnight swaps to "those crazy extremists on social media can post whatever hateful thing they say".

I couldn't imagine a world where Biden created "$JOECOIN" and that is just an accepted thing that is now in place

Or Imagine if Biden had taken a 400 MILLION dollar plane from some billionairs in the middle east and is now forcing it to be converted to be used for air force one. And the kicker, I'm pretty sure I read that it was set up so that Trump does directly own the jet, not like America or the government owning it

Imagine if Biden was seen in public with a visable droop to one side of his face?

its just crazy to me how "centrists" will try and say that both sides are as bad as eachother when not a single of the above things would have been allowed to happen in a democratic government

Yeah Trump went from basically almost broke and investigated by agencies for schemes to quasi billionaire threatening corporate leaders and foreign countries into paying him off. Blatant self enrichment, somehow tolerated by all those anti-establishment, anti-corruption centrists. Not sure if they emotionally interpret that as him getting silicon valley and a freespinning capitalist machine under government control or something?

If Biden had sent the military to occupy cities in Red states, we'd be in the middle of a civil war right now.

Yep, its the most blatant use of double standards and flip flopping.

They're snakes, wriggling little snakes. They try to twist words meanings and factual evidence like the problems their combating are so fucking bad they're willing to stick their brain in a blender to fight them.

We can thank Fox news and other right wing grifters for that. All they know how to do is spin facts and drum up hate and fear.

Its a niche meta strategy for the "news" industry At least for those that couldnt figure out how to make sellable content without selling their souls and damning our nation.

Left-wing politician does something significantly wrong:

Republicans: OUTRAGE. THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER.

Democrats: Yeah, that's messed up. I don't think I want to vote for this person in the future.

Politician faces repercussions because both sides are against them.

Right-wing politician does something wrong:

Democrats: Hey, this is messed up. Why are you guys voting for this?

Republicans: What? That didn't happen. And if it did, it was justified because you guys are MEAN to us.

Politician faces no repercussions because the support from their base hasn't changed.

The mainstream media needs to wise the fuck up and start calling out right wing violence. A member of the fourth estate just got dropped and it's the right turning up the temperature. How long before a MAGA person decides to shoot a news anchor at CNN or MSNBC? Will they do it soon to "get back" for Charlie Kirk? If the media continues to be complicit while the right keeps encouraging violence and demanding civil war. Eventually the leopards are going to eat their faces too.

I really want people to read your comment AND understand that this is absolutely nothing new.

This is how the human brain works.

We're absolutely TERRIBLE at evaluating bias and untangling abstract concepts like freedom of speech, hate, empathy, etc.

That's not what the human brain was evolved for.

Or if you don't believe in science: that's not what the human brain was designed for.

The right wing has figured this out, and employed it incredibly well. The facts and logic you present in a debate don't truly matter, and relying on them often costs the win.

Boxing and UFC Fights aren't often decided by K/O's but by whoever gets the most hits in. Debates work the same, where so long as you stay the attacker you can often win. Even if the defense plays a perfect game, if all they do is respond to attacks they will lose.

What about the argument that females in my family are afraid to bike home from work at 4am because of recent problems in the netherlands. and no they are not afraid of biking past dutch people. And this is coming from people who were left their whole life but just out of personal experience cant safely bike home at night just because they are women.

these fears are completely rational and not fabricated. fuck off look at german rape stats for example.

(i live netherlands btw)

Why are you yapping with this whataboutism bullshit. I'm from Germany, this has nothing to do with what is being talked about.

Someone who calls women unironically "females" really has lost it already...

I sincerely doubt that there is any woman in existence that feels comfortable in your vicinity to even remotely tell you anything... more likely that you'll yell at them that it's their own fault for dressing slutty or some other bullshit.
